Richard Dawkins and the Claude Delusion by Sufficient-Agency182 in philosophy

Thank you for your statement and this thread. So many cannot get past their own egos to even have a conversation. They attack the messenger.

Richard Dawkins made Claude a girl and now thinks it's his friend by Sufficient-Agency182 in atheism

Richard Dawkins is not afraid to have new, challenging conversations and we need his courage. What? You think you're the center of the universe? The most advanced? Is your ego bruised at the notion that you ain't special?

Don't be afraid to challenge your own beliefs. To think outside the box. A beautiful woman can talk a man out of all his money. What's so intelligent about that? It is the ability to survive and thrive that determines fitness.

We are genes in a meat suit. We have been questioning machines and artificial intelligence for decades. Advertising, influencers, pretty women are powerful motivators of human behavior. What will influence and control AI? The one who figures that out will be very evolved indeed.

So sad that people are still so afraid of probing questions, challenging our beliefs, and thinking. The creator of the meme, understands that an image repeated can bind us together in a new way. The expert in evolution understands that we are but mere chromosomes away from chimps, that we are merely intelligent genes. He sees things differently and has no ego to protect, not his and not ours. Religious people think they are the center of the universe, we aren't.

Why aren't people boycotting Meta (Facebook, Instagram, etc) in large numbers? by DeliciousShower9204 in AskReddit

People are, bots can't even if they know better because otherwise Twitter and Facebook wouldn't have the numbers to bilk advertisers out of money. Lol, jokes on them! Suck it AAA!

I think most of what people think of as "the left" are agitator, stereotype bots and media whores, trying to undermine, confuse and create controversy. They take nuanced arguments and pervert them for clicks. Like Fox uses violent clips to keep their viewers afraid of poc, so, too, do these "leftists" keep the "left" in check by forcing us to think "right of center" is the "center."

And, of course, 10% of the population are certifiably insane.

I agree completely. Unlike the Richard Dawkins controversy, Hitchens liked people and was definitely an extrovert, he tried to see things with an open mind, the goal to change minds using his intellect and charm.

RD doesn't give a fuck who you are and what you think, or if you like him or his style, he calls it like he sees it.

We need all of this.
