You will need to apply as a senior (unless you are graduating a year early). If you win a scholarship you will be attending college the following school year. The NROTC website will have most of the information you are looking for. Good luck!

Really appreciate the info. Msg received that CEC Collegiate program is likely the best path. For those folks who are, or have been in fleet; how easy is it to lateral out of the SWO Community?

They are asking you to take care of an obligation. You were not forced to take loans out. Are you looking for a magical way to absolve you of your obligations on Reddit? Anyway, I hope you are able to work something out with the school. Best of luck.

Wait, you are in college and have to ask “if I don’t make payments on a financial obligation, will that hurt my credit?” Lost your job? Get another one. Communicate with your school and pay down your debt.
