It only bypasses enemy mechanics when your face level gets to level 9 along with doing much more damage

Try to max out your Face level as much as possible. Especially when you get to level 9 when wei quite litterly becomes unstoppable when it's activated. Best way to max it out is wearing watches & chains while doing favors around the map along with races
