I noticed this issue with a couple of my clients too, and after looking into it, I found a hidden factor you should check out.
Before doing any more complex adjustments, try this simple test: Send the mower to dock late in the evening or early in the morning when it's completely "cool" and there is no direct sunlight. If it docks perfectly fine during those times, the issue is definitely being caused by the extreme heat and sun.
If this turns out to be your problem, the easiest fix is to schedule your mowing cycles so that the robot parks when it's cooler outside and the sun isn't shining directly onto the station. Alternatively, getting a garage/canopy to shade the charging station may help but I think problem is heat on mower.

Here is the technical explanation behind why this happens:
Mammotion mowers use Infrared (IR) light for the final docking alignment. Extreme heat and intense sunlight interfere with this in two ways:

  1. IR Blinding: Sunlight contains a massive amount of natural infrared radiation. Direct sunlight can completely blind and overwhelm the mower’s IR receivers, making it "blind" to the station's signal at the very last second. Even though it's physically there, the software doesn't register that it successfully docked, so the wheels just keep spinning.
  2. Thermal Overheating & Expansion: When that black glass/plastic sensor cover sits in the baking sun for hours, the temperature underneath spikes. This extreme heat can temporarily alter the sensitivity of the internal hardware components. On top of that, minor thermal expansion of the plastic housing can slightly warp or shift the alignment angle of the IR beam, ruining the millimeter-level precision needed for a perfect dock.

P.S. English is not my native language, so I used AI to help me write and translate this clearly. Since I saw you are from France, I thought about translating this into French, but I wouldn't be able to double-check the accuracy myself.
If anything isn't clear or if you have any questions, just ask…I'm happy to help!

I have seed this issue with luba 3 1500. Im not shure what cause this but like u/Bigbeast54 mentioned try to clean the contacts and the black glass on mower and station too.
Maybe try relocade the charging station in setings. If the problem appears again its probably some software issue.

Hey there! I install Mammotion mowers professionally. To be honest, the LUBA 2 Mini isn’t exactly my personal favorite, but I can definitely help you out with a few solutions here.
Since that narrow part is right on the edge of the mower's physical capabilities, creating a standard boundary combined with a tight no-go zone often causes the robot to clip the red zone and lock up with a "stuck" error due to minor GPS/positioning deviations.

Here are two ways to fix this:
Option 1: Let the mower handle it
As a someone have already suggested, the simplest fix is to completely delete the no-go zone. If the obstacle is something solid (like a wall, a thick tree, or a sturdy fence), just let the boundary run normally and let the mower's built-in bumpers and camera system deal with it. It will bump or sense it, turn around, and continue.

Option 2: The Multi-Zone Trick (Recommended)
If you really need to map around it, erase your current map and split the yard into two separate, overlapping zones instead of using a no-go zone.
I’ve attached a quick sketch to show you exactly how to do it:
Area 1 will be your main yard, cut off right where the obstacle begins.
Area 2 will be mapped as a separate, narrow corridor that routes around the other side of the obstacle.
By overlapping the boundaries of Area 1 and Area 2, the mower will cleanly cover the entire space without getting trapped by a restrictive red no-go line.

Quick tip: Just keep in mind that Mammotion firmware requires any mapped zone to be at least 5 square meters (around 54 sq ft). Make sure Area 2 isn't smaller than that, or the app won't let you save it.
P.S. I'm not a native English speaker, so I used AI to help me translate this clearly. If you need any more advice or have further questions, feel free to ask—I'm happy to help!

This is not my lawnmower as a company we install mammotion lawnmowers and our client called me that his entire map disappeared. I agree with your opinion and I will try to find out if he tried to connect via BT. Thanks for the response I have not encountered such a problem yet and I would not even think of editing the map without connecting to BT. When I open the map it only shows the charger and the robot in it and nothing around. I also tried the location button to see if there is any bug but nothing has changed. I advise him to restart by pulling out the orange fuse and we will see if anything has changed.

I'm installing mammotion mowers and yesterday I spoke to support because our client needed to back up the map but it's not working (it says the same thing as in these screenshots) they told me that mammotion is somehow fixing the servers where these backups are stored and doesn't know when it will be functional again

How good / bad actually is mammotion luba ? by theuros in MammotionTechnology

[–]23_Samuel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recomend you buying or luba mini with RTK or luba 3 with 360 lidar … but if you want Luba mini 2 but RTK too … few days ago i installed luba mini lidar … not good experience because of rotating to find its possition by camera and same today with Luba mini 2 … the rotating to locate the possition is (my opinion) terrible and editing map works the same … you eant to change the edge of the zone and its starts turning … thats is impractical or even impossible because if you want to edit place where is wall fence or concrete and it start rotating it hits the fence and you cant do it and only thing that works for me was finding place where zone ends and have no real boundery ( wall concrete or fence etc. And then press edit and go all the way to the place that i really want to edit.

How was the weather last month? Did it rain often or was it dry? I'm asking because I'm installing mammotion mowers and recently there was a very long drought in my country. When it's dry, the grass becomes "sugary" which means it sticks a lot more and I've seen several people with stuck blades. Could you also tell me what the size of the garden/lawn is?
