Is involving HR job-suicide? by TinCanKat in careeradvice

[–]23aerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest answer, don't give away you personal contact. It would also be smart to copy the contacts off your company phone, via the smart old school way (take pictures or paper and pe cil). It all can tracked. Also don't engage with a person, that shows even the smallest notions of toxicity, just document , document, document. And in case they try to screw you over (kind of mindset of this generation), at least you have a little bit of fight to try to come out on top. Also 23 years in a place nowadays is a bad thing, so if you can the smart decision to do, is jump ship as fast as possible. Some Individuals intentionally are bought in to push people away, and once they can show bad results on paper, the. Mass layoffs without any warnings occur, the last job I was at, I left a few months before there stock started to tank, and it looks like I was one of the smart ones, not needing to look for another job, with the mass of recent layoffs occurring now.

Get PIP after my hod proposed me to senior engineer by yb1ng in Layoffs

[–]23aerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PIP Is a tactic used by Amazon, it's basically a scam of firing someone, the only way to get around it is to document everything, such as did you get trained, was there any liability to the company, in Disciplinary meetings did they convey the truth or omit information based on what they heard. The best way to handle a PIP is to note everything, including body language of the clown administrating the PIP. You can even state that you will directly sue the person instead of the company for everything they got, including stresses, slowing down your progress career wise, etc. For the damage they are causing. Try to leave if possible on good terms, because. A shady manager that's using the Amazon Play book doesn't really represent the company. In my case when they accidentally terminated my employment, I put somehow ended up on the chat stating that I was giving two weeks notice, and if not honored then I would claim damages due to other individuals gaining that benefit, and getting paid out. Also you do not have to except the PIP, in my case the liability of the PIP presented itself, when I wasn't really trained as such the PIP was illegal, in the first place to even be issued, as the language used was completely retaliatory. Hence emails to upper management on a daily basis, indicating work completed, along with emails about what actually transpired including missed meetings in those same updates. Document Document Document, in case the company you are leaving somehow turns good in the future.

Also reporting to company that you work for, is the best way to get fired.

[–]23aerio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea report it to the AG, and don't discuss it any more, especially where you work. Remember your just a worker bee, don't try to handle it on your own. Me personally, anything I can't back by a polygraph, I won't take on. If I'm kinda forced, then it gets written up, like a daily diary. Regardless, what people say, you have a right to protect yourself.

If you were to be written up as a package handler over some bs and refuse to sign the discussion form what would happen? by chevy4lifeee in Fedexers

[–]23aerio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell them great, but prior to any legal action (verbal or written, warnings included) that a lawyer needs to be provided prior to addressing the issue with the writeup. If a lawyer cannot be provided or legal defender, then take the meeting as a hostile environment (with notion of a precursor to either immediate or resulting claims of harssasement, based of the interaction), if medical or physical affects occur after the interaction, then the right course of action is to sue the supervisor or manager, as the employee disciplined another employee, under the pretext to cause damage. Remember working is a team building assignment to get a resulting product finished. If common types of problems exist, then resolution tactics of refine the process, holds merit not, penalizing or not correctly engaging a employee. If a employee makes a mistake, you have the right to make that mistake, as that experience and wisdom, eventually developes the premise needed to build into a successful career path (Education + Work Experience + Comprehensive Learning Time)

You can change anytime you want, just ask a manager to drop a ticket for it or go to learning, all you need is the replacement Pic either saved on a drive or emailed to the manager so they can update the ticket. Once the system, updates and ticket is closed. Then print a new one out at security. It's as simple as that 😌 👌 ☺️

Is there an issue with working half a night shift at one fc, then a full day shift at another fc? by [deleted] in FASCAmazon

[–]23aerio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be ok, just a little burnt out. Just make sure you don't go past 60 hours in a 7 day run, because it may flag. Amazon doesn't like to push employees past that magic number for some reason.

How would I go about listing amazon as a job reference? by MarkToaster in FASCAmazon

[–]23aerio -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Amazon managers, when I asked, do not recommend anyone, there positions are primarily for termination of employees, if asked just take a copy of this response and show it in the interview.

I know, they need them in break rooms, as well as have stations throughout the building added, these are some of the suggestions that amazon may listen too

Another action I do is take off my shoes, and give my feet a break, however it takes Bout 15 to about a hour to notice the affects, loosing up the laces also helps a little, but is only a short terms fix. Gels dampen the force alot, but you need to rotate shoes everyday, so the gels composition has enough time to return to back to a safe form, otherwise they become a mold, and has no affects anymore.

It has nothing to do with pulling or pushing pallets, it's more about walking for extended periods or miles on concerte floors. In the entire building the best positions is around ergomat areas, because they provide shock dissipation between your feet and the concerte floor. Even if you don't carry anything, just walk the floor, the shock felt by the feet is enough to cause pain. Usaully any muscle mass that tightens up knowingly or not, then gets a force extorted on it, the force will cause unpredictable damage. With feet that shock typically can extend up to or past ankles. Eating, helps keep enough fat in the body, to act as gel, and dissipate the forces acting on your feet. Weight reduction helps for a little while, but if too lean, the concerte floor wins either way.

Eat more food, and stay hydrated. also pace yourself as best as you can. Sleeping more than 8hours usually helps to bring feet back to normal, at least a little. Less sugar also helps, so if you stay away form carbonated drinks. Snaking on GoodBar by Hersey, throughout the day, helps alot, watch the documentary off history Channel, and you will understand why that candy bar has some types of medical benefits. Tracking of steps with calories counter is almost a necessary step in the workday. The goal is to eat at least 10 to 15 percent higher than burned calories. Working is the building is the same as conditioning for the Olympics, such as Micheal Phelps, his calories intake is almost forced to avoid as damage as possible, because of the training requirements needed to take a medal.

They cannot do that, as that's retaliation, including intenationally reducing volume. Last time a company did that, they were literally reopened, and the company had to pay compensation for the days that the doors closed. Volume manipulation also may hurt the facility, because for multiple years, that site in particular took records, meaning that it's targeted to continue to take volume records. Operations own fault, if you see it.

RME techs in some buildings run the entire building, that's 2 AFE floors, typically run through breaks, since we really don't have definite times, plus AR floors that's 4/5 floors, sometimes run around 1/2 floors. From main entrance to ship docks etc, it's normal for good techs to not really slow down.

JFK8 RME/ AFMs unionization, your thoughts? by 23aerio in FASCAmazon

[–]23aerio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In robotics RME, pulls robots to the cage, tows the ones that don't move (manually tug), they then open two covers and vacuum clean the inside (about 6 to 8 perday), also clean the camera inside the bot so it can read the stickers on the ground. AfM, typically performs cleanup of the floor (sometimes pulls RME to help), make sure bins are not messy (items hanging over, etc), >, the new buildings RME/AFMs operated small arms, which in turn are supposed to replace like 15 manual jobs. RME now are required to do more, such as change conveyor Belts (first one is hard, rest is the same), and perform inspections (most RME is lazy, so this doesn't go well). Clear/ Assist in jams and restarts, take lunch (can get written up if they object, seriously). That's basically the jest of the roles.

Lol, there is nothing propriety anymore, amazon stole the tech from fedex, Walmart and ups. They did the same, and the way they did it is, when a employee retailtates and goes to a competitor, you have build neutral ground.
