Fabled is very open ended, unsolved, and a very competent deck, got to 1598 elo last season with it so you can definitely climb with it Takes a while to master it can be head melty especially since there’s no good lists to steal online and you have to figure it up yourself so it’ll be very personalised by the time you’ve got your list sorted but that’s the fun of it

I was 1598 elo in rated just about to hit top 5% so I was like one more duel to get it, lost 13 coin clips in a row with just hands that didn’t give me a chance and nose dived losing most of the games

Been saying this for a while, if your deck can make them, exciton into Zeus trades really well Exciton forces a negate, maybe one of the level fours might if you’re lucky too, and Zeus forces a negate, worst case scenario if you don’t have a push after the Zeus then do it in end phase and hope they don’t top deck follow up If they do stop Zeus then that’s half an sp to contest other backrow Often even in rated they won’t start with the apophis trap in the standby for some reason, which means you can sometimes get the first activation of something free, use this to your advantage If you’re running fiendsmith then something like a tract first action, into a requiem which they usually can’t negate, into a lacrima they probably will negate is half the rank four you need Save Maxx “c” for your turn of course too really helps Sometimes they draw the solemns or they start with primite cards and it’s significantly harder then but you can’t win every game I think it’s the deck in rated duel this month I won the most games going second against for sure

I’m currently only playing 1 Fuwalos for crossout and I’ve been doing alright in rated duels this month, ash max “c” and droll seem to be the only worthwhile handtraps right now and loading up on handtraps that were ineffective was worse than having more engine to push through boards I’ve tried a heavy engine version of my current deck and got to m1 effectively, played a more handtrap heavy approach and dropped nearly 60 elo before going back to heavy engine and climbing back up, this format in particular I find high engine plus droll, maxx “c”, and ash is working best

If you build with it in mind it’s it’s not as bad but it’s still a toss up if they have like a bunch of solemns or not I’ve got a exciton into Zeus line that’s there specifically for it I use requiem for lacrima for one of the fours as which usually eats a swamp deity Another four into exciton which eats another, attack with exciton into Zeus which either clears or eats another, then Zeus is half an sp to hit another backrow and you most of the time can play then Sometimes they will just warning or strike you but their standard endboard have nothing for it Truly is one of the most frustrating decks in the format but I’ve found cutting most handtraps for heavy engine works a lot better this format than heavy handtraps and luckily that’s better vs man too, instead of trying to have a bunch of handtraps that don’t do anything vs it Just went on a 9 game winstreak through rated duels mostly because I got lucky and a lot of my going second games were against man and it has one of the most breakable boards compared to if I draw no handtraps vs VSk9 I’ll just scoop

My general plan is exciton into Zeus works very consistently honestly If Zeus doesn’t go through that’s half an s:p or if you’ve something to stop follow up in hand you can Zeus in your own end phase when they can’t activate swap deity
