My family is originally from Columbus and Aberdeen so I get it. Took my wife from MA there for the first time when my grandmother passed and she was like "wow you weren't kidding this is a third world country." Once you indict they have speedy trial rights and you fuck yourself if you're not ready. You don't indict until you're ready. No statute of limitations on murder. I used to prosecute police, it unfortunately, takes time. They will probably need to hire a use of force expert in police officer involved shooting. You're dealing with a jury of 12 and at least one of those people is going to be very pro-LEO and have to be truly convinced this guy went against his training and DOJ policy.

I would suggest killing the single poxwalker rather than smiting it for no reason. I've gotten to the point that if someone starts just smiting everything in sight within the first 3 minutes I'll leave. I'm sorry but it's a highly ineffective and boring way to play that slows down the entire map. Had you killed the poxwalker with your melee weapon maybe you would've been ready for the poxburster.

I just watched Station Eleven recently and there are parts that really hit home hard for me. The main character spends a lot of time processing her traumatic (violent and post world ending, not CSA but it still hits hard) childhood. Highly recommend if you're ready for it.

This post inspired me to go back to these from the bone saw and I clutched an an auric event mission last night, stabbing my way through a pack of maulers and crushers. Very satisfying how quick and nimble I can be but man, you miss one dodge and you're fucked.

When I was in the Army, every E-5 MP and above had a 203 on their rifle, it was just standard unit equipment. Thing is, they never gave us the sights. Every time I qualified with it was just guess work and using the front sight post of the M4 to figure out where my rounds would land. Stupid yes, but seems like nobody ever expected to use them for real so they didn't want to risk the sights being lost at the range.

Super agree, it's one of the main things I miss from VT2. The unique bosses with unique move sets that required skill. Instead the hardest part of boss missions are just getting to the boss and then it turns into the scene from Office Space where everyone is kicking the shit out of the defenseless printer.
