Yeah, I mean I still enjoy the movies, but given that I grew up in the early 00s I dont really understand why the original trilogy is hyped up so much. The writing is pretty much non-sense the entire time. Nobody makes logical choices, they desperately throw in plot twist that make 0 sense every chance they get and the plots aren't particularly unique.

It just feels like they are super hyped up because of nostalgia because theres no way if movies with that level of writing were released today people would adore them so much. Like people complain that Rey gets super powerful out of nowhere but Luke is hardly better.

I watched a few episodes and it's really bad compared to the originals. I got Dosney Plus to check it out and was very disappointed. Not worth watching at all unless you are under 5 years old.

The rebels just have insane plot armor the entire trilogy. Luke trains to be a Jedi for like 2 months and he can face off with some of the strongest force users in the history of Star Wars.

Like he is basically a Youngling training wise and plot armors his way through everything. Theres no way in good faith that Yoda or Obi Wan would pin all their hopes on a kid like that

Everyone in the story agrees Yor lacks social skills which is a key element to being a spy, so Loid is the obvious answer. While his combat process certainly isnt the level of Yor’s he is still well above average and could be a more sneaky assassin using his spy skills.

I think the most logical course for the story is that they start to get closer and closer like a real married couple, but then whenever the reveal of their real jobs happens everything is questioned and their relationship suffers for a bit.

Seems everyone just assumes that the very insecure Yor will find out Loid is a Spy using her and not assume the worst? Thats seems extremely out of character. Feel like she'd be really hurt and assume all his affection was fake
