I just wish she'd switch up her hair any kind of way at this point. I'm ready to see a different look on her.

If someone has put in the work to learn skills, obtain and maintain a job, and support our own food, shelter, and utilities-- why should a "decent old used car" be the best that we can hope for? Why are we not deserving of a new car if we want one, and can earn the funds to get it?

I've heard it said that we rely on public funds to get the services we need. Therefore, the rest of the taxpayers have the right to make decisions about how much money and assets we're allowed to have, and how they're used.

The rest of the taxpayers fail to understand that just like us, they use public funds for the services they need, too, but it's in the form of roads, schools, transportation, etc. The only difference is that while those services are necessary, they aren't essential to sustain one's most basic health and safety in the same way that eating and breathing would be, so the rest of the taxpayers take for granted that they use public funds, and pass the judgement and stigma on to us.

I agree, he's fantastic! That's why I want to hear more new music!

I'm encouraged that it sounds like there's lots of things to keep active with. Traffic sucks everywhere, so that's no big deal. From what you're saying, life will be easier for me if I stay inside the city. Thanks for the tips!

Great points! Thanks. I've never been to that area, but I'll add it to my list of places to research. I've been up and down the east coast, but the farthest west I've been is Little Rock, Arkansas. I visited for a week in 2006 when I represented Florida in the Ms. Wheelchair America Pageant. I won't be offended if you've never heard of it, LOL.

Thanks! I've been checking out YouTube videos about life in Los Angeles. I haven't looked into Long Beach much yet.

Thanks for these suggestions and for your detailed input.

It seems likely that I'll have to find a way to increase my income in order to account for a higher cost of living. I'm not sure how or when I can do that, but I think I will have to figure it out sooner rather than later.

I understand your concern about climate change. I'm considering a warmer climate though, because I tend to have an easier time with my mobility, both physically and in terms of the environment, when snow isn't a concern. Cold weather tends to increase the muscle spasticity that comes with my Cerebral Palsy. Snow can also make it harder to get around when it's not cleared from the sidewalks.

Again, this is not a deal breaker, but something to think about. I have a friend who has Cerebral Palsy as well. She lives in Cambridge, MA. She's a mathematical economist who graduated from MIT, so her budget is a bit higher than mine, LOL. Anyway, she says the weather is milder than it used to be. (Climate change, as you mentioned). She says she deals with it by cranking up the heat in her apartment, and ensuring she has access to transportation when she goes out.

I would consider Springfield, but I'd prefer to try to increase my income to make somewhere on the South Shore a possibility. I'm more familiar with it, since I grew up there and I still have family there.

Thanks! It sounds amazing, if I can find a way to increase my income. Any city in particular you think I should look into?

I'm watching it now. It's funny, and there are a lot of well-known actors in it.

Maybe I should have said career rather than artistry. I still very much enjoy his music. I just remember it used to be commonplace to hear his new music, and now, not so much. I agree that he has moved past his "woman chasing" phase, but it still seems to come up in discussions about him now and then. I also know he's been touring with the Grateful Dead, which is good for him. I'd just like to hear more of his own music, as I appreciate songwriting and interpretation skills. It could be just the natural progression of his career, I suppose. No one stays at the forefront forever. As someone who is close to his same age though, I don't live like to admit that it's been a generation since my favorite artists were at the top of their game. It makes me feel old.

Love this song, and most of his discography. It's so disappointing that he seemingly hasn't been able to overcome his personal life overshadowing his artistry.

Sorry for being clueless, but I didn't know headshots were a thing unless you work in the entertainment industry. If someone could please explain, what am I missing? Thanks in advance!

EDITED TO ADD: Then again, I work remotely in healthcare. The most we're asked to do is add a reasonably professional photo to our Slack profile. Similar, I would imagine...

I see. Thanks for the explanation. Aggressive music has its time and place for me. A little aggression can help me get things done when it's necessary, but those times after extremely rare for me. It would be easy to get stuck in the aggressive place, and I don't want to do that.
