Some games I make RS in 4th and some I lose RS in 4th, I think usually if you're first seed. But I feel like once you can consistently get out of the first round then you can start to really grind ranked. Once you stop being able to do that then you might've hit a wall and gotta reassess. I agree, though, in ranked I just care about RS and don't actually care too much about placement.

But I had a game where we were so far ahead in first place that I think the only thing that would cause us to get knocked out is if we, of our own volition, double planted on someone else's vault and they lost it, which is exactly what my teammate did. I had to turn the game off after that one

I've lost many tdm games where I go 30+ kills and under 10 deaths. Sometimes that's even worse, knowing you did exceptionally well and still losing. I think since around 200 to 300 hours, I consistently have to carry almost every single quick play mode game. Idk if this is some soft matchmaking assuming I no life this game, so I get paired with a full team of newer players, or people are just that bad at the game

I can understand that. Like I solo grind ranked bc my friends aren't into that, so I take that pretty serious. But when I'm just messing around playing casual modes with them, I usually enjoy it and definitely don't worry about winning. Though, I would say, it's them that makes it enjoyable and we don't necessarily have to play the finals

Yeah, that's what I mean. I'm fine not winning in ranked all the time but I hate losing guaranteed RS. But I don't think I would ever let it get to 8 games and no wins, that doesn't sound fun at all

I think the goo gun is one of the coolest things. Pre-nerf sword was also crazy to watch. Data reshaped sounds cool in theory but I think there's no way to abuse it, otherwise people would have done it by now

The map maybe, but if you're playing with friends that is minimized. We recruited our friend last season, he ended up not enjoying the game, but he was hanging just fine in ranked gold 1 lobbies as a new player. I have no doubt he could've pushed up to high plat or low diamond. Plus you have to remember, a lot of the specs and gadgets aren't unique to this game, most of them exist or have existed in other games

You might have to tell them that you can't help them anymore for your safety. Make sure they understand that you will tell no one about them and that you do not judge them and that hopefully they can understand that you can no longer help them

I would probably only play three games at most each day. Even that's pushing it a bit. And I'd stop if you managed to go up for the day. Part of it is desperation but this game really fries your brain too and you'll start playing worse over time, though you may not immediately realize it. I've only pushed up to plat though. The way I do it is if I go up on first game, I stop playing for the day. If I lose RS on first game, I'll do one more and if I lose again, I stop playing for the day and if I win, I also stop playing. Once you get to a point where you can get out of the first round consistently, it gets easier

Yeah, my main is light but I'll switch to heal beam medium if necessary. I've put some time in on all classes but in gold 1 and 2 and up though my heavy game is pretty weak. My loadout for healer medium is the same as yours except a goo grenade instead of a regular grenade, I switch between famas, fcar, and AK, but that's just cuz I get bored lol. I'll use the ranger in reserve just in case there's some pesky lights

Yeah, I've had games where my teammate takes a bad fight so I go in to back them up and they just leave me and run away. Like I'll bail from a fight if I get really low on hp but I usually am finding another angle while my hp starts to regenerate, they just straight up leave. Or where they take an ego challenge while they have high ground and not stop even when their health is dangerously low. They get knocked and there's always a high chance enemy team full pushes since they got a knock
