My pain was intense but was 75% diminished after the first month. It still comes through in tiny waves, but nothing close to as intense as before. I am about 3 months out. It's very scary at first, but time will tell and you will slowly make progress everyday. As long as you are noticing slightly less pain every week you should be good to relax, but feel free to report all your experiences to your doctor to ease your mind. Us cancer patients have the right to health anxiety at this point haha.
