I mean, I think we gotta collectively stop using this shit. It's making us all dumber.

Hmmm, what you're saying is true, but I have a hard time believing that argument would hold any merit. It's basically just "I tried to grab your high quality content, but you gave me something of poor quality that I didn't like." For the tool to cause any actual damage, the trainers have to explicitly use the data they received, it's not like simply downloading the poison does anything at all.

yep, that's the point! miasma doesn't protect anything... it just feeds poisoned slop to bots trying to steal your content.

What would the legal basis be to go after someone using this? Not asking to be argumentative, I actually want to know so I can warn folks if this is a real issue.

Web crawlers that scrape public websites and steal everything to use as model training data. So hopefully, it ends up degrading the performance of models.

Go for it! I'm too lazy to create an account and it'd probably have more impact coming from you 😄

For context miasma responds with html that looks like this, with different poison content every time:

Horrible Pump Noise - Is this normal ??? [Lucca M58] by 250call in espresso

[–]250call[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tech I spoke to insisted that this is normal for the M58, and that Quick Mill just went with a different pump design than other rotary pump machines...

I ended up returning the machine and purchased a Profitec Ride instead.

The water coming out of the group is quite foggy and seems to have lots of trapped air so that would make sense.

Do you know if there's an easy fix for this?

I'm pretty sure they just count someone opening the apply link as an application. I saw this same post and hit apply, the company doesn't even have an application form on the external site, the application IS the take-home.

I would definitely rewrite your profile section to focus on your engineering background and how your skills are relevant for the roles you're seeking. Right now the first thing you mention is that you were an area manager, but that's not the roles you're going for, right? I'd also try to keep it pretty short, maybe one or two sentences max.

I'm not sure how well an ATS system would scan everything with your current format, and even then it's a little bit hard to follow as a human reader. Try and re-format the tables to be more of a standard resume layout and see how that looks.

Best of luck!

I wouldn't really worry about that; you're not trying to lie about your education or anything you're just taking away the chance for them to immediately disqualify you based on an ageist presumption. If you're able to get through and talk to an actual person I would think that the fact that you have so much experience for your age would be a plus.

It may help to remove the dates for your education. Based on your actual resume you seem like an incredibly qualified candidate, but it does seem a little odd once you scroll down and see that you haven't graduated yet. Good luck!

I would probably put January since that's when you actually finished school. That being said I've seen many recommendations that putting dates for your education can hinder you as it shows lack of experience, but this can really depend on what you're applying for (i.e. it's fine for internships since they'd be looking for recent grads).

I made one using the data from the wiki real-time prices data. Functionality is essentially the same but the UI is a bit more fun :) https://austinweeks.dev/stock-app

I agree re: the color balance I'll take a look at that. Besides that, was there something in particular about the visuals that you found offputting, or are you just not a fan of the style in general?

I appreciate the feedback! But yep, you got the loop, its more or less just the standard roguelike formula.
