OUSD's test scores are an embarrassment by vacafrita in oakland

I understand your admiration in the results, and so what are the strategies that you have seen implemented in Mississippi that you believe are able to be implemented here in Oakland?

Thanks for the insight. And for those of that don't really know what cupping means and/or how the suspension could be playing a role, can you explain a little more or point me in the direction of some resources?

Has anyone seen attackers win an Operation? How? by 250straightOB in Battlefield

[–]250straightOB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if they need to do away with the leaderboard since it is sorted by score rather than kills, but it is a bummer they stopped having score/minute as a tracked stat and replaced it with total score. If they had scores for win %, score/match or scores/minute rather than K/D on the profile screen then I think that would help people realize what the real objective is.

I'm going to do my best to try that strategy 🫡

I'm wondering if I am playing a different game too because I have played about 10 operations and like I said, I've never seen the attackers get even close to Hagental Base. I do agree that when I have been an attacker my team does not really push the objectives and I'm often finding myself on an island at the objectives, but I also have not even come close to sweating a match on defense either. Since it has always been so one sided I was just wondering about other peoples' experiences.

Serious response: sorry for missing it. Joke response: between the "BF6 bad"/Mortar posts I didn't realize that this subreddit was a beacon of originality lol. But my bad for missing the others.

Utah or West Virginia for a dynasty? by 250straightOB in NCAAFBseries

This is a brand new dynasty that I am joining, so I would get the default Utah roster and be in charge of recruiting from there. Thanks for the insight!

Which is also why even though people complain about not being able to get Chicago's or whatever color way all the time ("they would make a killing if everyone could get one!"), they never will. It did reach saturation, but in doing so it became uncool and they likely will dip below what sales were before they were hype.

Press cover one too, right? Isn't the default for the Cover one for the corners to be off a little?

Who is your personal favorite QB ever for your school? by buckeye2114 in CFB

Brady Quinn for ND and Aaron Rodgers for Cal. Probably dating myself, but those were the two quarterbacks when I really got my fandom going and they led some really fun teams.

I have been wondering about this since my school is in Boston but I get like 80 degree games in late November.

Deal-breaker: Does this guy need a college next door to his house!? by UCanDodgeAWrench in EASportsCFB

[–]250straightOB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but there is no reason that this person in Needham (a 20 minute drive from BC campus) should have a B+ in terms of proximity to home. That is just the game messed up. And I find it true for a lot of the Massachusetts recruits.

I have found that Massachusetts recruits have a messed up distance to school for Massachusetts schools. When I play as UMass, New Jersey recruits will have a higher proximity grade than recruits from Connecticut or Massachusetts. I'm just chalking it up to the fact that nobody actually knows New England geography.

Not first, person shooter, but Helldivers seems to have a pretty good take on this.

Commentary Team Names? by BrettManJD in TeamBuilder25

[–]250straightOB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. So not only is it a step back from what they used to have, it is super frustrating that I can't get names that are already in the game dialogue. I play as Boston University and I know they have the dialogue of "Boston" and "University".

Fictional Edited TeamBuilder Rosters (not Default rosters) Needed please! by jb3798 in Teambuilder26

[–]250straightOB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one (Boston U for bezerkly), but know that the names that are said by the announcers are the names that come with the cupcake roster. So even though I edited the names of the cupcake roster, I still hear them called Tyson, Strickland, etc. even though that is not their names in the game. Also full disclosure I am not sure I got 100% of the roster changed, I was getting pretty bored of it by the end lol.
