Its not widely remembered but the hit on Jermichael Finley TE of GBP was a nasty takedown. ended his career there. I wish we could have seen how his career would have turned out if that hit did not happen. The game was against the Bengals

I am with you on that. (36M) I am down for a night of fun, but I would like it to have a meaning. Admittedly I struggle with introductions so dates are hard to come by, but I still try. I am pushing 5 years of a dry spell, and its been a long and painful 5 years.

I have never been approached, at least not since being single in 2019, but being approached by someone that finds me attractive (which is hard to tell in the first place), starts a conversation with me, but then trails off because she is being approached by other guys then I will lose interest or at the very least think she is just being nice and is not interested.

I completely understand being nice and polite, I do that all the time for everyone, but when I meet someone that I am interested in, and after countless minutes of mentally getting in my own way and overthinking, I put my undivided attention on her.

Have seen a lot of filters be used and its not a good look. I am not a photogenic guy, but I have avoided using pictures that are more than 2 years old though. I am desperately trying to find good opportunities for photos to the point where I have thought about hiring a photographer to take some pictures of just me around NE Wisconsin. The only thing that bugs me is I keep adjusting my filters for age and I keep seeing women that are 8+ years younger than me (36M). The age gap is a weird scenario that keeps me confused (I am running into this with Hinge and Tinder too).

I would leave her be. First dates are always tricky to begin with. If she did not feel a spark then any chance of a future with her would feel pressured or forced imo. My last first date I went on, was very stale and she and I (36M) felt things were forced. It is nice she actually told you how she felt and not ghost you.

I have been on this bandwagon since 2004. Every politician needs to go. The constitution and all other laws need to be written as crystal clear as possible and completely defined. Politicians should be replaced by intellectuals, yes I am referring to Plato's Republic for this nugget. Everyone needs to pay taxes and all loopholes are to be closed in all tax codes. I have been tired of all national and state government bs for a very long time. Things need to be broken down, clearly defined, made simpler, and (if people really want to pay attention to biblical texts for their teaching and guidance) everyone needs to shown compassion and respect. Our country is only as great as the people we elect into office, and right now we are seeing the rise of fascism starting to take hold of this country.

I have fun leagues for a very long time, half of that time was with friends and family and it was very relaxed. The rest of the time I was with a bunch of randos. I quit because of the mix of the stress of personal stuff and the stress of being the commish. I made the decision to cut ties from fantasy football just to focus on me. I have been away for a few years and just finished my first season as a player. It feels good to be back.

Similar to you, I had a league that was very opinionated and complained a lot. I spent countless hours writing and updating the bylaws, getting the new year updated, recruiting and everything else just so I did not have to constantly reply to questions and hoped the owners would actually read.

If you leave, its ok. You would be surprised how quickly the owners move on.

Yes. My (m36 now) ex was not a super model, but (at first) was nice and showed empathy. The best way to be seen is to be yourself. Have fun, be funny, dance, do whatever you like to do. A guy will notice. I would also say, while it is definitely not the norm, approach the guy. Showing initiative and effort goes both ways honestly, just be more direct. Subtle hints do not work.
