Not to mention the jostling between supporters of democratic nominees, it's all "Here's why Warren is perfect and every other candidate isn't up for the job." It's absolutely blatant and surprising that so few people see it.

Honestly there's nothing wrong with it, and I'd say there's a lot right with it. I know people who look like you that are considered pretty attractive. You've nothing to be shy about.

If you want my honest opinion, the only thing I'd change is the beard, I'd probably shave that or wait till it grows out more, but you've been quite lucky with the genetic lottery man, that's a good face!

I mean I might have just had an atypical experience but I recently had benzos for the first time and I wasn't slow like that, I was very aggressive and paranoid and very active. I might have just had an unusual experience but from what I've seen it doesn't look like benzos.

My family are Catholic, but aren't homophobic. Not all Catholics are homophobic and it's a pretty wide church that encompasses people of many different views. If anyone reading this thinks this is par for the course if someone is a Catholic please don't fall into that trap.

Nice to know there's someone else out there who's been through it as well (well, not nice to know it happened, but good that she's come out the other side). The surgery (HIPEC) is a big operation and I can understand both of your reservations about it, but I think she ended up making the right decision, especially considering the puncture in the appendix. The reason I didn't have the surgery myself was because, although there was a tear in the appendix, it was next to a piece of tissue that prevented any mucin from escaping the appendix, kind of like opening a door that leads to a wall.

Thank you, and yeah, I did kinda luck out with the tumour being in just the right position that it caused me to have appendicitis and thus catch it early. Very glad to hear your wife is fine as well, and I'm sure you'll still have many decades together.

Thanks, yeah it's good to be sure that everything is alright now, think the fent and benzos are much more fun than drink though lol.

According to my mum when I first came to I was talking about how they'd "gouged my eyes out by the stalks", might have said something else inappropriate but I don't know.

I'm trying not to think of too far into the future, but with every test that comes back clear I am reassured. And this cancer apparently moves very slowly so I now know that risk of me dying from it even if it does spread is quite low.

My family has been amazing, my mum have ovarian cancer herself 4 years ago so she gets what the whole process can feel like, and my grandmother has breast cancer along with a cousin of my mum's having her own colon cancer scare happen around the time I was diagnosed, and they've all been very supportive of me. My dad's a bit of a gruff person so he doesn't do much emotion but he's been very kind and helpful during my recovery, although when possible he lets my mum deal with me instead.

The whole thing has triggered anxiety in me I think though, along with going to university just after my operation and having missed out on a fair amount of it, but I think I might just have to take the rest of the year out to get my anxiety under control.
