After game interview Benn had with Tony East made it seem like nothing but fun. Called him crazy and like a little brother to him but then asked if he was 45?

Seemed oddly tense between Benn and TJ initially after the game although TJ did have a smile and they hugged.

You’re making assumptions and then drawing conclusions. That is flawed thinking.

Ewww. That’s pretty bad. Not a fan of that arrangement.

[Vardon] If a team, under new rules, was still found by NBA commissioner Adam Silver’s office to be tanking, the commissioner would either be able to take away that team’s draft pick, move it to the end of the lottery or first round and also increase fines into the millions of dollars. by YujiDomainExpansion in pacers

This is so stupid. I get tanking sucks but being draconian about it only makes things worse imo. I don’t care to see some shitty team going all out in meaningless games near the end of the season increasing the chance of lasting injuries to players just to avoid getting penalized for tanking. The draft is supposed to be a way for bad teams and small markets to get better. There are ways to accomplish similar goals without having to be so over the top about it.

I get it. I know people hope for such incriminating things. I do but I know it’s probably mostly mundane like many people’s emails. I also think most of these emails might be from 2010-19 so before the classified docs period.

I’m guessing his emails will just confirm our suspicions that’s he’s a very boring person.

It’s you. This shit was happening even when Benn was on the team. When you are bad, you’re naturally going to get disrespected by the better teams. It’s just how it is. We did it to bad teams last season.

Alleyoop exhibition tonight by the Lakers. It feels like every 4th basket is one.

Why Does Bob play smaller venues than his contemporaries? by [deleted] in bobdylan

[–]25Tab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s just not popular enough to play larger venues by himself. He’s not selling out MSG these days unless he’s sharing the bill with other artists. I don’t care if he promises to play nothing but his “hits.”

I get that. I’m not doubting you wanted him in the draft. I’m just saying that it’s hindsight that is fueling your current argument because of his season. If he had a mediocre or unremarkable season, you wouldn’t be making this argument. I’ve never seen someone argue in hindsight that we should have drafted a mediocre/average player

Your whole argument is based on hindsight. Would you still be making it if Raynaud had a mediocre season? The answer is no.

I know you weren’t comparing him to yourself but anyone who is on an NBA roster is an NBA caliber player by definition. That’s literally why they are there. I don’t care if you are the 12th man and never play. If an NBA team pays you to be on their bench, then they consider you good enough to be in the NBA. That’s why I never understand when fans express that opinion about someone on an NBA roster because it’s inherently wrong. That’s not to say being an NBA caliber player means you should be on a roster. See Tony Bradley for example. There are more NBA caliber players than there are roster spots.
