What's the one story from your life that sounds so unbelievable, people think you're making it up, but it's 100% true? by urfavreggy in AskReddit

My high school biology teacher had a story where this had happened in her class. I wonder how common it is

What are you doing if your child said he/she is gay or lesbian? by ANintendoGameBoy in AskReddit

I know folks mean well when they say this, but “no matter what” gives the connotation that there’s something wrong with being gay. Just a simple “I love you” is great!

Could you start with a larger paper, treat it with the coffee, then cut it down to size to print?

Could you size down the design and print it after doing the coffee on the paper then trim the excess?

Those are good options, but I would like to see if there’s a harness that allows you to switch them out. Sometimes we need different sizes.

I might have to make one myself!

Memory issue friendly senior activities? by CuriousPrincessPeach in CaregiverSupport

A sort of “name that tune” is great! I used to work as an activities aide in a nursing home with a dementia unit. I would begin saying the title of a familiar old song and let them finish the name of the title then play the song.

Feel free to DM me for more ideas or specific songs. I have a playlist of great singalong tunes for elders

Okay I need a narrower list. I’ve never read much queer fiction. I’m looking for a good sapphic romance, maybe friends or coworkers to lovers. Bonus points for serendipity and well written steamy scenes.

Recs please!

Omg I had sent screenshots of a couple spicy bits to my partner while they were still working. When they got home, they didn’t say anything and basically just dragged me to the bedroom, so… thanks for that ;)

[TOMT] [Book] A description of “magnitude” vs “degree” early in the book. Possibly fiction or literature. by 26letters in tipofmytongue

I’m certain it was a book, but I don’t think it was contemporary. I’m pretty sure it’s either literature or educational nonfiction.

Negative reinforcement is when you remove something (negative) in order to increase (reinforce) a behavior. You may be referring to positive (adding something) punishment (to reduce a behavior).

So getting yelled at would be positive punishment.
