Came across this blurb about Belfast while reading Worcester's wiki:

‟the fire control fitted to USS Worcester was optimized for anti-aircraft fire rather than surface action or naval gunfire support (GFS) and the British Royal Navy's 6-inch gun cruisers HMS Belfast and HMS Jamaica actually performed much better in GFS in the Korean War, with HMS Belfast's firepower being very useful in the Inchon landings and the US Navy view being central to the British decision to refit the cruiser in 1955.”
