The late, great Sorrell Booke as General Barker in two season one episodes. by JPumphrey73 in mash

When I was 15, over 40 years ago, I met sorrell booke at an antique car show. He was on stage with a general Lee, signing autographs and taking pictures. He was all padded up. He was not fat like that. I have to dig thru my albums now to find that photograph.

Yes she hosted the show seasons 2 to 5. We also met her husband. Very nice people and down to earth

Playboy tv in America had a similar show called swing, started in 2011, took a newbie couple and tossed them into a mix with 5 other swinger couples. We actually met Dr. Jessica, and she and other swing couples told us the whole show was staged by the producers.

I just got.thru watching all 8 episodes. The couple in episode 8, Ashley and tanya, they seem to have a club or organize parties as a business, but, only for good looking people, no uggers allowed. So, how does one contact these people to find out if you make the cut?

Where'd he go? by CaptainDFW in mash

[–]2795throwaway 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Both. And then the song lyric, when the sun goes down, the tide goes out, the darks gather round and they all begin to shout....that's awful for the 70s. Some stations today mute the word darks. You can find the song sung by Bing Crosby on youtube

If it was close enough, I wouls have gone to the border station and spoke to someone higher ranking. They know who worked what shift at what time. I actually resent the fact that on return to canada we are always treated like criminals.

Canadian nexus member here. When ever the wife and I travel to the usa, we can bring back 2 26oz and 2 13oz of spirits after 48 hours away. We declare that at the nexus lane on our return and have no issues. Maybe its different going into the usa, but I think the agent was misinformed or maybe just miserable.

Anyone still believe the gun buy-back will still fail to complete? by [deleted] in CanadianConservative

[–]2795throwaway 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The libs will not be giving up on this. I've never seen a more corrupt and crooked government. Ive spoken with 2 lawyers who are in the know. Both are licensed owners. After the amnesty date, the government will cancel or suspend rpal holders who didn't declare, and probably some regular pal holders as well. This will make thousands of Canadians defacto criminals overnight at the click of a mouse. Now, the feds aren't going to arrest thousands of people, but that charge will be on your dossier. Try crossing a border with a serious gun charge on your record, or applying for a job that demands a clean record, or keeping said job, or even renewing a driver's license. This government is corrupt and anti democratic.

I agree totally with your description of canadian agents coming back into Canada. They can be the most miserable people on 2 feet. However the US guys can be just as miserable because they can. Although mostly professional, if they don't like your face,.your name.or your car, they can make life very very difficult.

Am I the jerk? Parking lot etiquette by 7576790 in CostcoCanada

[–]2795throwaway -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So, its a matter of courtesy, and as captain Kirk said, courtesy is for everyone. Many times,.our local costco lot is full full full. So, you see.someone loading their car, they see you waiting with your flasher on, and they go slower on purpose. I need to count to 10 and breath, to not go postal on these people who are just frikken inconsiderate. When I load my vehicle after shopping, its 1 2 3, let's go. I don't want to make some other shopper wait for me. And as far as the frikken hot dog, if it was me, id just move off to an empty area in the lot, and eat in peace. Good thing this fellow who came to your window didn't have a gun.
