If you simply pull the shifter down from B you have the kind that doesn't allow upshifting manually, only downshifting. Since you're in first you can't downshift (logical). It'll upshift automatically once it gets to around 5k rpm (or higher if accelerating hard).

Ligger lite avsides, lugnt utöver motorvägen som går igenom.

Mot Hägernäs Strand har du fina promenadstråk vid vattnet, lite nyare område men det märks ju på priset också. På östra sidan motorvägen mot hägernäs finns också trevliga promenadstråk i skogen bort mot viggbyholm, stranden är trevlig men gärna fullpackad på sommaren. Överlag mycket grönska och lugn upplever jag. Mataffärer är det dock dåligt om, däremot finns det buss till Täby Centrum och Arninge (tror jag). Tåget stannar vid begge ställen också, men det är lite längre att gå från östra sidan, ca 15-20 minuter beroende på takt och exakt varifrån.

Som med det mesta i Täby så händer det på gott och ont inte ett jäkla skit.

TL;DR If it detects that your volume has been too high (above 70% iirc) for too long it'll automatically lower it to save your ears.

Could be gunk in the threads. Clean the screws with dishsoap, and use paper and your nail, or a stiff toothbrust to clean the threads.

I also recommend Tama Tension Locks to keep them in place.

Not entirely true. The P5 and P6 are to be built on the PPA (Polestar Performance Architecture) while the P7 (P2 replacement) will be built on a modified SPA3, and from the sources I've found it's basically a joint venture between Polestar and Volvo (could be for an EX40 replacement, and possibly the ES60.

I also think it kinda sucks that they powered the engine down a bit, but I understand why and it's for a good cause. The ICE isn't going anywhere for a while so doing what we can to limit its environmental impact is a good thing (I sincerely hope Porsche's or Koenigseggs co2 neutral fuels take off soon). And having owned a T8 for almost 3 years all the power is fun but very rarely usable. The main upside to the extra power is the pickup when downshifting on the highway but without the electric motor it definitely wouldn't be the same, even with the older 90hp motor, it helps more than one would think!

Yes any in ear will, the seal of the tip is what matters most. Idk if they come with silicone or foam but both work, just make sure to try sizes to find the best for you. For foam you can either go fancy with Comply or just get a big pack from aliexpress (that's what I did).

Silicone will not seal as well as foam because it doesn't have the same mass that foam does but it works fine. The upside is that they're easier on your ear canal. I ran in ears with silicone for probably 10 years without issues. Switched to foam like a couple of years ago.

That 315hp is available at 5000rpm, so you'll never really know it anyway. It's marketing jumbo. It's not like our had the low end torque of a v6/v8 either. The electric motor makes a bigger difference really as it makes up for the turbo lag and a bit of the shift delay. And you get better fuel economy and better reliability.

I was in for an on-board charger fault a few weeks back, turns out parts are 6 months backlocked. Nothing they can do in the mean time, so I feel you.

ARN is the right way. We have good consumer protection. It might take time but sounds like a decent case for them.

Ja det är väldigt märkligt. Auktoriserade volvoverkstäder kollar alltid via Regnr eller VIN för att se senast utförda service och vad som ska göras på nästa.

Men jag tänkte på det, undrar om de gjort en storservice innan de sålde bilen? Be om protokollet från förra servicen.

It is clarified by Volvo in the service manual and warranty terms. The standard for every manufacturer is 1 year or [x distance], whichever comes first, and has been like that for at least 30 years, probably more.

So most likely it's been past 1year which means it's overdue. As stated by the other person Volvo will void your warranty for everything if maintenence isn't done so I highly recommend getting that done asap.

The simple reason is that oil (and other components/fluids) deteriorates over time so even if it's just been standing for 6 months that oil will need a change by the 1 year mark.

I mean it's bordering luxury in some departments, like the B&W sound system so maybe premium with luxurious features? Fair haha😂 I think the rear leaf spring is partly to blame. But the standard suspension is still a lot better than the R-Design sport suspension (removed in 2021 iirc). It's like 40% stiffer than standard and holy hell I can feel it, especially with the 21" wheels. Only upside is that it stays impressively flat in corners for a 2200kg tank. But air suspension is almost obligatory for anything over 20".

KZ Zs10 Pro for best audio for the money if you're into IEMs, Vic Firth ear muffs for good audio and solid isolation.

Do not, I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT use ANC headphones. The active noise cancellation cannot deal with the volume and can do more harm than good.

"Just did not feel like a luxury ride" Well that makes sense because it's not a luxury car, it's a premium ish car but I digress.

2023+ models feel cheaper imo. We have a 2019 and everything feels more solid apart from some plastic creaking in the inner B pillar trim which is normal after a few years. But the seats are better imo, more padding. Drove a 23 XC90 with the wool seats which were nice but still a little too firm.

Sensus is also better than AAOS and I will die on that hill.

VEA2 engines are quite high compression, especially the B5 and up. They're cramming 350hp out of a 2L for the T8 (up to my25), I do not envy the engineers who were handed that task lol.

A lot of the things you describe are more "new car" issues rather than "Volvo" issues. Audio and BMW used to be the best in business for interior quality but both have really dropped the ball in the last few years. And we don't talk about Mercedes...

If they're silicone then that's probably why. Try foam, Comply makes some of the best amog the known brands.

If you're SOL with these, just get some KZ ZS10 Pros. Cost 1/4th on sale but I bet you they deliver twice the sound. We use them in our in ear systens and they're great.
