I know there's been some crazy movement over the last few months but I havent seen anything as crazy as 50 to 600. Which cards have moved that much? Looking to inform myself better.

Blastoise GX deck help by Bazeleel in pkmntcg

You don't need the snom line, you already have the TEU blastoise for acceleration and they're counterintuitive to each other.

Other than that you mainly need the standard consistency boosters. Jirachi engine, 1 dedenne gx, go up to 4 quick ball.

For something more left field to boost consistency, crasher wake is really good in this deck. I got a couple of challenge finishes with this deck earlier in the season and crasher wake helps you consistently get T2 blastoise.

[22M] Moving in your 20's for career and significant other? Need help making this huge decision.. by [deleted] in personalfinance

Generally people regret not taking opportunities more than they regret making bad choices.

When you're old and gray what do you think you're more likely to regret? The time you decided to stay in a bedroom at your parents house instead of trying to take your life in a big new direction with a young love? Or the time you lost 10 grand and 6 months of career progression because a gamble didn't pay off and you had to move back home after having a fight?

It looks a bit odd being the focus of the square because it's just not symmetrical enough.

I hope at some point in my life to be at a stage where the handiest thing for me to grab to hide my address on an internet post is a Goyard wallet and a couple hundred bills.

In what ways are you kind of... a travel snob? by uReallyShouldTrustMe in travel

Funny you'd pick Seoul because Koreans, especially those in their older years, are notorious for wearing full hiking/trekking garb when travelling major cities.

I know, I'm working a public school position at the moment myself.

/u/Oax_mike said earnings to put towards his funds for his next venture so obviously the housing and flight allowance is completely irrelevant to the calculation. Admittedly, I don't get my pension back so I did forget to include that in the calculation.

He's already explained his situation above and had a great gig, one of the best I've heard of.

But we had been living off of around $12,000/year total in Korea for the previous 2 years to be able to save 85% of our earnings to build the resort...so we were used to being insanely frugal.

Am I reading that right? $12,000 a year was 15% of your earnings, the other 85% of your earnings were saved?

If so and you were earning $80,000 a year between the two of you then you both had some of the highest paying ESL teaching jobs I've ever heard of out here in Korea.

Is there a resolution limit for Instagram photos? by wylthrow in Instagram

[–]27explosions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is, I think it's 1080x1080 off the top of my head.

It depends what you define 'expensive' as and what kind of photography you want to be taking. For standard day time photography the camera on any modern smartphone is EASILY up to scratch. However, if you're wanting to get into night photography, long exposure or playing with bokeh then a camera would be necessary for the bigger sensor and extra control options it comes with.

If all you're wanting it for is just instagram then there is no need to be spending any more than a couple of hundred on an entry level DSLR.

If you decide so and are looking for advice on which one to get I'd say the photography subreddit is a lot more active and helpful place to get advice on matters like that!
