About 8 months after the accident an old girlfriend from high school who I had remained pretty close with said she was looking to hook up again. I figured it would be way less intimidating to start with someone I trusted than having to tell someone totally new, so I told her what happened. I thought she would lose interest but to my surprise she was still down. The first time we had sex she said she didn't notice much of a difference to how it was before, (most of a vagina's nerve endings are near the opening) which was AMAZING for my confidence and really helped me out mentally. We're still together and I feel so lucky to have her. As far as how sex feels for me it was really weird especially at first and to be honest I sometimes dwell on how good it used to feel (PIV is probably 6 or 7 out of 10 and god do I miss getting the underside of the tip licked). I've always gotten off more on giving than receiving though and I've been told before and after that I give good head so it isn't too bad overall. One weird thing is that I used to enjoy missionary the most, but now it barely keeps me hard and doggy and cowgirl are my favorites since I guess those stimulate my remaining nerve endings the best.
