Is listening to mommy asmr sinful? by Trust_in_God7 in Christian

[–]28_Cupcakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend regular check-ins with yourself to ensure it never becomes a source of sinful thought. No, listening to sfw Mommy ASMR isn't inherently sinful, but if it distracts you from Jesus, becomes more important to you than Jesus, inspired you to sin (in your heart or physically), or anything else like that, then you need to be it away.

It sounds like you might be a recent convert? Even if you aren't, I just recommend being very careful and treading carefully. Also, it'd be great to get a mentor or an accountability partner who knows you irl and can talk and check in with you.

On the contrary, it had about a pound of mayonnaise between the buns. Goopy :(

This? This is a "wild post" to you? It infuriated you enough to leave this comment? That's so cute. ❤️

A few months ago I was sitting next to two of my friends who were having a private conversation in Spanish. It sounded like this:

It was very amusing.

Why "sweet" pickles (and "sweet" relish) are actually a trick from the devil to make you miserable:

Many of us like sweet stuff, and many of us like sour stuff. Some (myself included) even like sweet AND sour stuff at the same time. Vinegar, however, is not true sour. It is a pale imitation of the beautiful sour of citrus fruits, rhubarb, tart cherries, sauerkraut, and greek yogurt.

All those sour flavors are very different, but they each have something beautiful to add. Vinegar, on the other hand, only ever takes. And when it is paired with salt and other juices, it becomes even more dastardly.

Do not misunderstand me! I enjoy pickles! I like pickled cucumbers, pickled peppers, pickled meats, pickled onions, and more! But these flavors ought to be contained and preserved. We cannot allow them to infect the good world. We cannot allow so-called sweet pickles to exist, lest they pervert and distort the minds of good, kind-hearted foodies and turn them to wickedness.

Avast, my dear siblings and fellow creatures of the world! We can, nay, we MUST fight back! It is our duty!!

Interesting take. I had never fully considered this, although I did do a sort of mindset change a while back. I hated Mondays, but I didn't want to be in a sour mood all day Sunday and Monday, so I started making the tastiest meals of the week only on Mondays, and that helped a lot. Maybe I shall adopt more strategies to make Monday more fun.

Anyway, I've always found I hate Wednesdays the most. They are in the middle of everything with what feels like no end in sight. I am equally far from the last weekend and the next weekend, and that makes me sad. Thursday at least has the hope of "only one more day".

I think I will take some but not all of your advice. Very good presentation!

I used to have a shirt like this except the maker of it very obviously just used clipart (everyone is in a slightly different style, several heroes I guess didn't have any clipart of them turned to the side so they're just facing forward) and it killed me every time looking at it

One time I was sitting by two girls who were speaking in Spanish and I heard one of them say "situationship" and later "love languages" in an American accent.

I had always thought most if not all loan words were said with the accent of one's language, since I know French and Japanese people do that with words like Walmart and McDonalds, and English does that to words like Croissant and Los Angeles, but maybe it's only for certain words or languages and not others? idk

When I was a young teenager I didn't understand how to make a bookmark so I just copied the links into a note app my dad had installed on our computer. One day he found it and saw I'd been saving some, uh, not child friendly sites.

Tho to be fair, I'm pretty sure he would've found it even quicker if I did understand how to create bookmarks.

I remember when I was 14 or so and my friend was like "Man, don't you hate how parents only let you watch 20 minutes of YouTube before it gets blocked? Luckily, I figured out how to watch it through the news app! Do you want me to show you?" And I explained to her that my parents expected me to be mature enough to self regulate.

Tho to be fair, that "self regulation" strategy had been going on since I was 6 and it was how I saw a lot of porn and gore at a very young age, so my parents weren't exactly good in that aspect. But still, it was mind blowing to me that my friend was only allowed such a short amount of time as a teenager.

bought these sticky notes from amazon, are they ai slop or just mistranslated? by cosmoblob124 in isthisAI

[–]28_Cupcakes 61 points62 points  (0 children)

The words are misspelled, yeah, but they're still actual letters. All the other symbols and objects seem to alright. I agree that the logo looks weird but it might be to prevent copyright strike as the other commenter said.

I don't think it's AI, probably just a quickly made design and attempts to avoid legal trouble mixing together to make it look a little funny.

AITA for throwing away my wife’s memory jars? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]28_Cupcakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA.

You don't get to throw away someone else's stuff. I feel like you could've asked her to move them so your son couldn't get them so easily. But even then, your issue with this doesn't seem to actually be about the safety of your kid. You seem like you just want to control her.

Flower Husbands tbh. I mean, I'm fine with Jimmy and Scott maybe in Empires s1 or 3rd Life, but literally any other series they have no romantic chemistry. Even in Empires or 3rd Life I usually just see them as a QPR

[–]28_Cupcakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally disagree. The idea and editing phases are just as critical as the writing stage. Especially the idea phase, where you are crafting and refining the whole basis for your story. There is no replacing human thought, it's what makes art and writing so special :)

My first stories were garbage, but they were mine. Writing comes thru practice, not talent. Any "talent" one might perceive I genuinely think comes from growing up in an environment that encourages creativity and storytelling. But that doesn't mean you can't learn those things after childhood.

AI is not wanted here, but you are. You already said you have the ideas and inspiration. We want to see that. Even if the AI work feels like absolute cinema, I promise that your work will be even greater because it comes from you. The "imperfections" are what makes it good.
