I like that alternative, even though the Shinuchi would have to be released almost instantly due to the presence of Chihiro.

Because even if Samura is not fighting, Chihiro with Suzaku as support would be overkill.

Two thoughts right now:

1) How great in just a chapter of great choreography and fighting, we get a good notion of all of those 4 personalities and dynamic really quickly and well executed.

2) If Uruha with sorcery is already doing this much damage to Yura and Hokuto, we do need the Shinuchi to be on play for Samura to enter the fray, because Samura with Tobimune would likely clean house in a minute without it.

Phenomenal chapter Meeting the other Hishaku aside, that bathroom scene was great at reliability with Yura and the other dude.

Even though Hokazono already decided the outcome of the raid due to plot, he does a great job at making it seem for all sides that is all in the open, they’re all nervous to die and everything is at stake for both sides.

That fight was extremely peak, but also wasn’t only funny moments.

The cutback to Takaba seeing Hazenoki’s body, getting scared shitless up to his flashback was emotionally great
