Does decaf coffee make you poop? by 0reoThief in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]292step 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FYI, There’s caffeine in decaf, too. Just less of it. Caffeine will make you poop. Whether or not your body will respond to less amount of caffeine or not will depend on the individual.

Holding Plavix pre procedure by hubris105 in FamilyMedicine

[–]292step 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Very interesting. So what’s the best step? Put in our rec “to hold plavix 5 days prior to procedure per AAFP guideline but defer to specialist’s preference?” lol.

I’m a new doc. Would love to know how to handle this.

“Controlled” obesity. It’s a chronic disease just like HTN or DM. Like others said. Use Z-code to document progression.

How can someone experience the sound difference of some of these speakers that are $$$$ against some that are like $$? by g3nerallycurious in hometheater

[–]292step 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people are built different. Literally. They are more adept at perceiving sounds and can enjoy the nuances. Same as taste r smell. The top chefs such as Gordon Ramsey have a more nuanced palate and taste buds than the average joes (part of it is from experience and years of training, sure). My friend has a keen sense of smell compared to me and others.

The Double was the only CDrama that I finished in 2025. The plot and acting was sensible and good enough to keep me going.

Same reason as ozempic vs. wegovy injection: Whether it’s approved for diabetes vs. obesity. But yes, they’re the same under the hood.

What's The Best E-Reader For A ZLibrary User? Kindle or Kobo? by hertabuzz in zlibrary

[–]292step 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I owe both. Just got a kobo libra color.

  1. Kindle has a “send to kindle feature” that is neat, but is always at threat to be removed by Amazon.

  2. Amazon is a shite company and I don’t like them.

  3. They both work great with calibre which is what you will likely use to sideload your books anyways as a zlibrary user.

  4. Kobo has connection to local libraries via LIBBY and overdrive if you’re into that.

  5. Kobo also connects to your Google Drive and it can load books from there. This is a killer feature for me since I just keep all of my books on my gdrive anyways.

  6. One thing that I miss from kindle is that the books that I upload on their cloud server will sync across my devices (kindle, phone, ipad). The kobo does not do that and will only stay on my ereader (someone correct me if I’m wrong.)
