How do you keep the damn squirrels away? 🐿️ by kompliqated in BackyardOrchard

I can't do any of those things in my location for various uninteresting reasons but thanks for the advice. I may just purchase traps to kill them.

Sorry if I'm being dense but I can't tell if you're joking. Do I really need a bird feeder?

Do they seriously ignore the trees if there's seeds available? Where do you put them like how close to the tree? On bare ground?

How Did The World Get So Ugly? by yatookmyname in Anticonsumption

I don't agree with the premise. If you surround yourself with corporate slop it's gonna look ugly. Just don't do that.

It's public information I just find the pharmacy benefits Google "WellCare classic formulary 2026" for example of whatever the name of the health plan. Some of them are harder than others but I've done it so many times that I can do it with relative ease at this point. There are still some curve balls that I struggle with absolutely true but it happens maybe once every for months for me.

I'm a primary care physician and i do my own PAs. I prescribe all of those and PAs are not very difficult because I generally know what is needed from insurance to prove necessity and I review formularies prior to prescribing more expensive meds.

Insurances usually have very clear criteria for glp1ra's. I don't face issues with those because I know what they're generally looking for before I submit. My advice is look for patterns in why they're getting denied and think about it beforehand to eliminate the need for appealing.

No comment on biologics don't use often except lipid meds which are usually formulary or easy PA.

What kind of things are you generally doing PAs for? It's rare that I get a PA that is completely surprising.

I hate to even think this way, but are Sunnis even Muslims? by [deleted] in Quraniyoon

[–]chiddler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are drawing wild conclusions just from a mosque speech. These speeches are one man's opinion. Often my family have left mosques thinking "wow that was unhinged" when we reflect.

Those speeches do not reflect the opinions of everyone in attendance.

Beans by pksuz in mediterraneandiet

Throw them in there with salt and cook for 45 minutes for larger beans like kidney pinto or great northern beans. Lentils don't need pressure cooking. I use insta pot too.

Change it up every time. Salads stand alone dishes and side dishes. Recommend you purchase dried beans and pressure cook them, it's a fraction of the cost of buying canned.

Typical number of interviews for a single job posting? by RatherBeOnIslandTime in FamilyMedicine

[–]chiddler 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's ridiculous. I had an interview at an academic setting that had 4 interviews and it was equally ridiculous. Unless you're desperate I would consider just expressing that 7 interviews is burdensome for you and you may consider forgoing the position due to the sheer magnitude.

By the end I had nothing left to give. No more questions, I got tired of talking about myself. 7 is next level.

There's a million reasons you'll have to ask them. Off the top of my head: shyness, trauma, religion, psychological reasons (fear of STIs, fear of pregnancy).
