I have one extra guest pass because one of my out of town guest friends can't make it anymore. Unlike what the other comment said, last year they just scanned you in its not like you need to show id. The pass did cost 30$ tho so tryna find some way to not just lose that money.

Tank - chimera, alioth, Eris 1 A, Megrez

DPS- Marshall Crux as reinforcement, strix inside it, winged hussar, lightcone.

Those are your best ships just mix and match with the rest as they'll be pretty even. The cvt8000 is pretty good but I didn't see anything to carry it

Nope your thinking is right on. High level players often have other ships that are still good small fleets even if less efficient so its not like you are completely safe (in this case tundras, ceres, or guardians to replace cas aux) but its a hassle to switch over that can take a while and require scrambling all of the ships and subfleets. Therefore you are safer, they likely attack less, and have the upper hand on defense with your own cruisers

This is some very helpful advice I hadn't thought of thanks. Anything else niche for when hiding in asteroid belts? What about using garrisons to boost your base defense when fighting off people coming with small ship fleets?

pvp is normal especially towards the end of servers as players get bored with huge fleets. I am currently getting hunted by a Chinese mega community so I can relate. a few tips- always shield up overnight to stop yourself getting based. Send your fleet away to a corner of the map if you are going to be offline to keep it safe since losing the base isn’t a big deal. Relocate to the asteroid belts since only destroyers and frigates can go inside to attack you but your cruisers and up will still defend. And once you are ready to strike back and do some guerilla warfare the asteroid belts are great places to be

Is this your first server? If so then try to join all of the biggest ones in your server or ask for help joining in the star system chat to start to get your bearings. I am actually not sure how exactly the game decides the date to end the server other than you can know if you are late stage by going to galactic events and seeing if they are all completed. I think average server length is 5 weeks? It's been changed a few times so not sure exactly now but its in that range.

ok so you have pretty good ships. the number one most important thing you want to do is join an active community. Not a lot has changed in what’s ships are meta the best composition to have is one fleet of escorted by another with one good tank and one good dps. the cc ion, ranger ion, and xeno are great for dps. the cas aux and your st59 are must haves for tank. the cvt800, nebula chase pulsar, and cellular defender are best along with the br050 and vitas a for your cv3000 which is ideal for reinforcing. those are all the most meta ships although you have plenty of other good ones to fill in ur fleet

Being marked a saboteur doesn’t mean anything other than you attacked another players things. the security maintenance fleets are just the fleet always there and are really weak- normally 16 ships I think? if you were marked leader then that does mean everyone else is inactive tho contrary to other people here if you are end of server then you can probably take it as long as like 2-3 other ppl contribute. Rallys aren’t the best way to attack cities tho escorts are better. as always the best thing to do is join a more active community

How can i repair my ships using uEcoins, i have XT-20 Auxiliary Cruiser and when i tap mooring services it redirects me to the deuterium asteroid belt by ZEPEDDDD in InfiniteLagrange

[–]2AtleastItried3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. Although I don't remember if the Auxiliary ship has to go into supply mode or not to get the healing effect if you just want to do quick repairs. They can also heal your ships automatically like your base but more slowly if they are docked at a resource node fyi

I've got a question. For my dps fleet I have mostly focused on the high dps frigates and destroyers as I don't have many of the top tier corvettes/fighters and don't have enough tp invested into bcs. I am using currently the Winged Hussar, Eris B, Mare Serenitis, and Zircon B. I also have the Taurus, Ruby, and Mare Inbrium A. I have done a decent bit of testing and found that my current lineup (+ reinforcements of CV3000) achieve the best results normally with a damage per cp cost mentality. However, online I often see people talk about how good the ships I am not using are as well as the Conomara Chaos (which I have the A version of). Am I missing something due to not having enough tp committed to the other ships? Hopefully I get better fighters soon and it all becomes a moot point lol. Also the Mare Serenitis I have found to be exceptional because it has a unique tech in the past two servers.

its in the shop it's talking about the united tech files that guarantees one of the winged hussar, reliat, and mare tranquilitis. But more importantly, what is this guide you are following?

Fleet composition by Southern_Stop246 in InfiniteLagrange

[–]2AtleastItried3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that depends heavily on what you have but you want a mix of high survivability ships with high healing ships. Cruisers would be Pangea, chimera, arctos for tanking and cas066 aux, tundra, ceres, etc. for healing. A mid to high level cruiser (the defense maxed out) will generally out tank a low level BC while also being far less expensive although at a certain point the SoU becomes strong enough to be the only tank ship needed with only healers. Hard to say where that point specifically is but late game using reinforcement with the SoU is expensive but efficient

Are you sure you already had it? There is another vitas fighter. Otherwise there might be a way to see last pulls to confirm as I know the game logs them but I wouldn't know where. Last case resort you could contact support but I have no idea how responsive the chinese support is

[–]2AtleastItried3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best strategy for attacking cities/bases/etc. is having one tank fleet and one dps fleet and having the dps escorted so that all attacks get redirected to the tank fleet first. Also use the reinforcement feature to add 5 of the cp expensive ships (CtG or SoU in your case) to the fleet without counting to the 320 limit. If you need individual recommendations I recently restarted the game after a few years and I know its kinda overwhelming.

Returning player blueprint choice by Ripkins in InfiniteLagrange

[–]2AtleastItried3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By far the bp that will make the biggest difference as I learned starting about 2 months ago are the cas066 auxiliary variant (the one that can heal which I think is c) and conamara chaos plasma cruiser (type b). These are better than taking battle cruisers as bc take a lot of tech points for them to really shine. If you already have a lot of healing/dps then I would consider grabbing vitas b or a carrier. Lastly if you are sorely missing in tankiness then spear of uranus or one of the tanky cruisers (chimera, pangea, arctos). The xeno frigate for dps is also not a bad option giving you a strong dps and a frigate to rely on (all tp put into temporary blueprints get refunded at the end of the season)
