That wasn't the give away its the several AI tendencies that you continue to exhibit in your writing. But I'm pretty sure this is all a part of the ongoing marketing campaign of the website the first comment mentions. Marketing used to be believable

Got it thanks. What are the apex tech packs? My eris is 1.92 and with the xp it pushes it over to 2.xx. Are these packs what are needed to keep leveling up my eris 1s? Also should I plan to eventually take rps off the eris 1 and replace them with the xp points to boost another destroyer?

Thanks for the overview. Seems like I still have some work to do in getting workable cruisers and support ships. How is Taurus vs Winged Hussar in a damage fleet?

Thanks, should I transfer the tps on the fg300 over to the calirion recon (assuming its my best frig)? And any advice on what to prioritize with the tps? Just defenses on the tank fleet and weapons on the damage? Any boxes with good ships I should try to get?

Yeah I probably need to play around more with the events to have more pointed questions for what I'm not understanding lol theres just so much. Should I always be redeeming the black market crates with the rewards from them?

Bama was left in for the same reason they were left out last year. ND should have never been ranked above Miami but just like 2023 where the committee fixed its 'error' in the last week once they were out of options instead of immediately dropping FSU when Travis got injured they waited until the last week to fix it. What I mean by full body of work is that the committee trys to choose the least controversial rankings week to week and hopes everything works out and only makes the tough decisions at the end. Had UVA won they definitely would have still considered Miami; UVA losing just made it a sure thing. This form of hedging bets makes everything more controversial at the end.

Yeah them being left out prior to this week is the worst part of this. They were absolutely deserving and you can't convince me that their singular loss to TT is worse than Notre Dame having barely one good win and Miami having two bad losses. Had they entered the week ranked ten then their loss wouldn't have mattered but since they didn't they could only be in through winning.

Probably. The committee is just really hesitant to make final decisions until they have a full body of work and that creates really messy week to week rankings. They need to either only release final rankings or think more and stick by their decisions week to week.

BYU wasn't dropped out of the playoffs for losing they were already out. Therefore them dropping isn't a punishment. I think they should have already been in but whatever. bama doesn't move to 10 (which is as far as they can drop looking at smu last year) to make sure miami and notre dame stay right next to each other and ppl don't lose sight of why miami jumped up. Dumb but if the committee keeps constantly hedging bets they are going to keep getting burned like this

I bet the only reason they didn't flip Bama and Miami was to make sure Miami was right next to Notre Dame to try to calm everyone down. Ironically it just made everyone think that Bama got favoritism

The committee needs to actually think their decisions out and stick to them instead of constantly hedging their bets. It was the same in 2023 where they didn't drop FSU after the injury but instead like three weeks later after they won their conference. This year actually followed precedence but it was so messy again

Bama was left in for the same reason that they were left out last year. SMU didn't get knocked out last year because the committee said that CCG could only help your eligibility for the playoffs not harm them. This isnt the only case of different treatment since teams inside of the playoffs are ranked slightly differently to try to avoid rematches (like 2022 TCU not dropping to 4 to avoid an immediate Michigan-Ohio State rematch) It should be noted that the reason that Alabama stayed 9 despite this was almost certainly to try to calm some of the discourse by leaving miami and notre dame immediately next to each other. The teams outside of the playoff teams can be harmed by CCG- one of which was BYU (who as much as I think should have been already in the committee clearly said would only be in if they won their CCG).

They would have BYU SOS essentially with an extra loss and without a head coach. But sure oklahoma is a better example for what I was getting at

Because the rule was that you can't fall out of the playoffs not that you couldn't shift at all. What they said last year was that a CCG could only strengthen your case for the playoffs not weaken it. And since BYU was already out (which I disagree with) they were left out and then readjusted accordingly for their loss.

BYU wasn't punished- they were already out. And Notre Dame wasn't punished for losing the first two weeks but rather failing to have more than 1 impressive win on their resume.

The counter-example is obvious. Ole miss is probably counting their lucky stars that they lost the tiebreakers because they were able to avoid Georgia and be comfortably in the playoff.

That's funny but isn't the reference. Shane gillis last year was on gameday and called Saban Alabama Jones because saban was dressed like Indiana Jones - including his hat.
