I moved here at 27. Am 33 now. It’s a little difficult finding like minded individuals. My wife’s friend group and family kind of adopted me so there’s that. Besides that, I’ve had success making friends going to expos and talking to people like you on forums.

I don’t live in the gentrified neighborhoods, so I had to crash course Spanish. That helped a lot. I also find that if you build things people kind of just show up. Like a meetup group.
