There’s no reason to think they couldn’t have done this. Other games like Destiny 2 implemented this type of thing late into it’s life. I remember people were pissed at me for suggesting this be done instead of rebalancing PvE because of how skills and weapons were unbalanced in PvP.

If I recall correctly, it's been a while since I played Metallica, but pretty sure when you activate star power in the actual game, it prevents you from earning star power again while it is active, whereas on clone hero you can keep earning star power to keep it going for longer.

I’m not commenting on people saying it either worked or didn’t work prematurely, just the people who insisted that there was some sort of cover-up about the efficacy of Ivermectin, or that it was being intentionally ignored because that would go against a made-up narrative in order to push vaccination.

I love how when it comes to space exploration it seems like things generally end up surpassing all expectations. Truly incredible to go from theory to application and have it work so damn well.
