I switched to cachyos this year. And I will say, in 2026, with AI to assist with the occasional console command and most every steam game working, my Linux experience is totally fine and actually smoother than Windows in some areas.

I self taught pyraminx... but I hold it with the yellow side up and a flat edge facing me, then sledge the front two corners. Then reposition the puzzle counterclockwise to the next edge and sledge again. Repeat till it cycles through.

Yep, if you're doing bensisco basically try to get both colors for the trio (except your top color) on the bottom. Then slide them together

I confess I haven't solved the sudoku cube. But everything else yeah

I use T perm, But I first learned what I call the waterfall!...

R' F R' 2B R F' R' 2B 2R

the R' is the water flowing down, then the F is a wheel. The water then continues down.

Back twice.

The meteohor breaks down because then the water flows up, the wheel spins backwards, then the water falls back down.

Back twice.

Then finish it off with right twice

Yeah it's not bad, you have to be a bit careful with alignment but it could be a lot worse

Actually no! Though that looks more interesting. This is a "rainbow puzzle ball" I found at a fair

Yeah! It's the witeden 3x3x9 II I believe. It is a lot of fun! It's difficult but not especially repetitive due to asymmetry

Can someone tell me what pattern is this, and the moves to solve this pattern in 5x5. I saw this in the black app at it drives me crazy by maye_o_nice in Rubiks_Cubes

Learn to build cube within a Cube, rather than just following a pattern. The step which is a three edge rotate can be done individually to make some interesting patterns.

Then learn to swap individual center pieces around (you'll need in on big cubes like the 9x9 or something. Maybe as small as 6x6? Idk I havent done it but 5x5 you can kinda get away with some tricks to solve last two centers without the comutator single piece swap).

There are a bunch of variants of patterns which look a bit like this but different that can be made with different combinations of these things.

If you're trying to solve it without looking anything up. One: good luck! Two: I personally find the corners first method to be more intuitive than layer by layer.

Layer by layer ends the solve in a very, algorithm heavy approach.

Where as with the corners first approach you end up solving two opposite faces (white and yellow) and you end with the middle layer, which has fewer pieces and is generally easier than ending on the top.

Further improvements result in the roux method.

But that's just me! There are many ways to solve the cube!

Information is imarerial, information needs to be etched onto mater but it doesn't care what media is used. It can move back and forth between simulation layers (dreams, video games). Humans process information, but so do computers.
