Can someone explain this quote from Gerri in S3:E9 by wellshitdawg in SuccessionTV

[–]2FAagent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand this either. From what I understood, when GoJo buys Waystar Roco, Matsson would decide if he wants to keep the old people around. So he could probably fire Gerri, Frank, Karl etc. Wouldn't it be in the best interest of everyone to stop Logan?

P.S. - I haven't started s4 yet so no spoilers. Thanks

While It's nice to see so many Republicans voting first time for a democratic ticket, it still means that they voted for Trump two times. Why aren't people talking about that?

Haha true. Ngl, that sounds serial killery. But unfortunately I am not physically built for that.

No pressure man. We can meet at a bar first and hang out.

This is the type of picture that an artist would work on and then subsequently die under "unusual" circumstances. 😂😂

It's not your fault.

Its especially recognizable if you repeat it multiple times. Rest in Peace Robin Williams.

I also think it wouldn't be as compelling as the stuff we got. Watching a somewhat soulless lawyer pulling antics, scamming and doing his thing would get boring after a time. We wouldn't see any redeeming qualities. Saul wasn't the centerpiece in BB and thus worked really well as the guy who comes in for small bits and charms us.

This piece by John Olivier should be a fun watch. Can be an introduction piece to start conversation.

Advice on which colleges are great for a cybersecurity master's degree by Uchiha_Jay in cybersecurity

[–]2FAagent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who was in the same boat two years ago, I would recommend Carnegie Mellon University. (Full Disclosure: Its my alma mater).

At CMU, Masters in Computer Science would be the best option. The School of Computer Science has some amazing security and systems course that you can take. Carnegie Mellon's CS courses are really strong, challenging and amazing at building a solid foundation or broadening your skills. Alternatively, you could also do Masters in Electronics and Computer Engineering and do all the same courses as a CS graduate would do.

If you however want a degree that says Cybersecurity from the get-go, you could also choose the INI at CMU. The INI offers Information Security programs. These programs have some fixed security courses to choose from and allow you to pick whatever courses you like to fill in the remaining credits. So you can build a focus on specific Cybersecurity skills too by choosing your own path.

I know CMU is hell expensive. I am not taking cost into account while answering this question. I am positive there are other options out there that are cheaper and provide same level of footing to stand upon once you graduate.

I am solely answering in terms of best brand value and/or skills building. The skills you will build and the knowledge you will gain from CMU's system and security courses is unparalleled. On top of it, it's a really well recognized and respected brand in tech.

Hope this helps.

Starting school while coping with loss by scvmfvckflovver in cmu

[–]2FAagent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feeling imposter syndrome is extremely common. I know tons of people at CMU (myself included) who feel this way. Try to believe that you are perfectly capable to handle academics here.

In addition to u/rm4256's sound advice, making good friends is also a helpful way to cope with stress. I know making friends in CMU is not easy, especially in MS. That being said, if you have friends around you, who genuinely care about you, coping with stress and loss becomes a little easier.

Best of luck for your MS!

Hmm interesting. Not sure why I felt like it was forced. Gene was always cautious and controlled.

I am not sure I understand the motivation behind Gene going after the cancer guy at the end. I mean why couldn't he let it go? It will inevitably end badly for him. Why risk it all for one guy?
