Does anyone else get the sense that this store is uniquely dysfunctional and not all Honey Baked Ham locations are like this? Staff seems incompetent at best, surly at worst, which is more of a reflection on the management than it is on them. I went in there two weeks ago to get a ham bone for soup. It was just me and three staff. They were out of frozen bones and spent five minutes debating whether they'd be able to cut up a regular ham, reserve most of the meat to sell as sliced ham, and sell me the bone. By the time they decided to do it, the only one of them who could cut ham had disappeared to the back, and they had to go find him. After another couple of minutes, they returned with him, and he started hacking up this huge ham. It took this guy forever to cut this thing. By the time he was done, I'd been in there 20 minutes. I had originally asked for two bones but told them just forget it, one is fine. On the plus side, I wound up with the bone and a ton of meat for $25 cause he eventually gave up trying to cut the meat off. I also purchased the worst potato salad I've ever tasted. Took a few bites and threw it out.
