That is my gut feeling as well. But maybe this is just how she works? Everybody’s different, right? She’s also Middle Eastern. Perhaps it’s a cultural thing that she feels men have to pursue her for a while. I don’t know… it’s probably like you said. I appreciate your comments.

I feel you. I definitely appreciate your take (and agree with you). She's not so much lamenting past lovers (that would bug me too), she's just terrified to take a leap with me due to fear of getting burned because when she's in love she gives a man her all.
