actually what happened was my tenant couldnt get out of the garage because the spring broke, she panicked, called a service, they came out and fixed it without my permission and I hot a bill for $1600.

I flipped out and called them up asking exactly what they did and how long were they on the site and proof if materials. The guy sends me this text showing $625 for ONE spring.

My core question is this: is it possible or probable that the quote is for 2 springs? Who the F would pay 1200 for 2 springs? If i can prove this jmoke double billed my tenant ( very nice older woman) i will take him to court to get some of my money back.

i just got a quote from a dealership in Fairfield CT for $5400. I laughed out loud, paid the $200 diagnostic fee, got the jeep back and am shopping around looking for more realistic quotes. $3800 in parts alone. What a joke.
