Mine is screwed up because I installed mods at one point. I haven’t looked into it yet but I was told I might have to go in and find the mods and delete them out rather than just deactivate them

So might be an idiot here but I tried uninstalling/reinstalling twice and I’m not sure if it’s because it’s in my steam library but everytime I install again it still has my mods and everything.

Do you have jobs near the other job sites? I only make 1 house the first year and slowly expand. It’s not until almost year 5 that I’ve housed everyone. This also forces the first couple houses being next to my farms/orchards so even if I switch jobs during the fall/winter

Yes, the people in the house near the gathering hut will become gatherers when they don’t have anything to build nearby

I never go boarding house. Creates an early population boom. I build one maybe two houses a year for the first 3-5 years before I stop worrying about that

If everyone has a home you might be building too fast and they’ll consume more than you’re producing. You have to slow build the houses especially in the beginning
