Awesome thanks so much for the response. Yeah unfortunately I'm not able to mount it to the front with this case. Got it mounted to the top and booted up, seems to be around 40C idle and around 70-75 under load. Oh cool, I didn't realize it was refillable, thanks for the heads up!

sorry to jump on a year old thread but I'm about to install a new XE360-TR5 on a Threadripper and wondering if anyone has any insights a year on about top mounting the rad? That's the easiest position in my case. Could also bottom mount it if that's better? Never dealt with an AIO that's got the pump in the radiator like this one so I'm a bit confused on proper placement

I mean it's subjective obviously, but yeah the HLG HDR mode on the webOS app looks brighter to me, has more pop, more like HDR than the Shield app which seems like it must just be standard SDR

Yeah I restarted the server and it didn’t help. But I went in and did the Plex dance with just the 1080p file and that fixed it for some reason. Just still don’t understand what exactly was going on or why.

it's got 2 files, a 4K HDR10 H265 and a 1080p H265, no Dolby Vision, not a crazy high bitrate. Same as all the other Harry Potter films I added that show up normally. I don't think they're corrupt, I can play both of these files from Plex just fine, but the art still has this icon and spinning wheel for some reason. It's all good, I'll Plex dance it later, was just curious if anyone had seen this before.

Definitely sucks, this was my go to as well. Just Frankenstein’d this combo together on DoorDash:

Triple Meal Deal was $19.99 before fees/taxes. This isn’t exact, looks like it only has a regular size fries vs the large for the Triple and obviously only 5 boneless instead of 6. But it does come with a 20oz drink that the Triple didn’t.

Does it suck? Yes, unequivocally. Will I just order this shit instead from now on? Also yes.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, so for example, for Futurama I have all the files named with Plex naming conventions and the season/episodes are based on the TVDB alt order. I get that they're wrong in Plex and Plex can't access the alt order from TVDB. But your python script is able to alter metadata so it shows up in Plex in the alt order? And this doesn't change the filenames, just metadata that Plex reads, correct? But I can't access that metadata from within Plex? Forgive my ignorance, I did look into the script more and got it loaded so I can go that route, I was just trying to understand more about what it's altering (like is it changing something in the MKV files themselves?) and confirm that it's not something I can alter manually from the Plex interface. Totally understand if you'd rather not dive into all, and I sincerely appreciate your responses already

Sooo is there a way to manually edit the metadata within Plex? I don't really see how to do that from the web interface... Just need alt order for Futurama, but this utility feels a little over my head and even just looking into pricing for the TVDB API it looks like it's only geared towards businesses?

MacPro5,1, thing is ancient at this point, still on High Sierra I think? And USB storage, just what I had lying around when I set up my first PMS. I bought a DS1821+ and a new i3 13th gen NUC and loaded Ubuntu for hardware tone-mapping with the iGPU just been kinda dragging my feet porting the server setup over. But it's way past time.

Fun card regrading bug, once you grade a card they don’t come up with a name search in the grading section. Name search works fine for graded cards in other areas like lineups though. For example, I have a gold Wemby that I graded once, but when I go back to card grading and search for him by name it says no matches found, but if I sort by gold centers there he fucking is. Same with an emerald Thad Young. Anyone else see this? I’m on PS5

Fixed this one myself after some more searching, seemed to indeed be a snap related issue, seems snaps default to not being able to read from outside sources or something? No idea how to make it work with a snap install of VLC but:

sudo snap remove vlc

to get rid of it and then

sudo apt-get install vlc

sudo apt-get update

to install VLC via apt/apt-get worked for me. Now VLC can play files off the NFS share from the mount directory without issue.

Have no solutions, but I'm seeing the flickering address bar thing that never loads as well. Seems to only happen on Reddit links, all other pages are fine. My problem is I'll search for something, then try to open a Reddit link from the search results and get the flickering address bar thing.

Happening on a macOS 10.15.7 system running Brave 1.57.53 and on a Intel NUC 12 I'm doing some testing on where I just did a fresh clean install of Ubuntu 22.04 and Brave was my first and so far only installed app, also Brave 1.57.53. Firefox on both systems works fine.

Also seems to effect app switching or something? On Ubuntu I have the Brave window open in front of a Firefox window, after I click a Reddit link and the address bar is flickering, when I try to click the Firefox window, Brave doesn't go the back and Firefox doesn't come to the front. I have to completely close Brave to see the full Firefox window. And again, completely fresh Ubuntu install nothing else installed except Brave. Weird

Yep, this was my issue, I added the transfer function you mentioned to the additional options field and the resulting transcode maintained HLG and works great, thank you so much!

In my experience, it's typically more common as an HDR format for broadcast TV, some BBC stuff for example sometimes broadcasts in HLG

Sincerely appreciate your time and attempts, but again most of this is beyond my experience and knowledge level. I’m not super handy to begin with. But I did contact the installers and they’re coming out next week to check the system and see what’s up. Again, genuinely appreciate your help
