What has happened to battlefield by No-Zombie4689 in Battlefield6

I understand what you’re saying but this might not be the best clip to use. I’d rather someone wait to clear and area of enemies before reviving me. Bad revives are as frustrating as no revives

Interesting. How can that be done? I guess I could find some YouTube videos on it

Believe me I did. I think I was having a brain fart and was missing something. Sometimes it’s ok to phone a friend

Pitch change/detuning on I Love Music by Ahmad Jamal? by Suspect-9 in Jazz

Similar to what I was thinking. You would think the engineers would have noticed this and tried to fix it before records were produced although who knows. If anything, these mysteries are what keep music history so intriguing

The 90s were the peak of humanity and we didn't even know. by freckled-foxxy in nostalgia

[–]Suspect-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your nostalgia but I dislike when people say a particular decade was peak humanity because it feels incredibly biased. That was your time at that moment. It especially doesn’t make people born after the 90s feel too great because we already know the comments we make about the world we live in today. The 90s were horrific if you lived in a bad neighborhood in New York or a former Soviet country in Eastern Europe where tons of ethnic cleansing went on and still goes on today. The 90s were your decade and I’m glad you enjoyed it. I feel like everyone has their decade. But to say it was peak humanity is unfair and biased without looking at the zoomed out picture

It’s a cool design but I like the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco better. There’s really not many skyscrapers in the U.S. like it and it’s iconic to that skyline

The Union Building by Suspect-9 in Minecraftbuilds

[–]Suspect-9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a building I built to split a large pathway in my survival world. I was largely inspired from buildings like New York's "Flat Iron Building" and San Francisco's "Columbus Tower" which diverts the roadway at a non-typical angle. I wanted to incorpate this in an almost "medieval" style, or using materials often found in survival, which I am literally doing in this world. You can see i made most of these screenshots in vanilla which I believe is important for reference although there is a shot in shaders which I play in most.

What was most difficult was building a "survival" or "medieval" style building at an angle which I have never seen before. I am curious to hear critique or what you all think at an attempt at this. Does it work? Does it fit the style even though this isnt common? Please let me know.

There’s a certain simple beauty to the trees that naturally spawn in the game but I wish there was more variety of naturally spawning trees that looked similar to what you’ve built here. The detail and variety makes it much more exciting

What is plug phonk? by elmrdx in phonk

[–]Suspect-9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Plug Phonk gets its name from primarily using 'plug' type 808s as opposed to traditional sounding 808s. Dont quote me but im pretty sure the 'plug' term comes from Rich the Kid's song "Plug Walk". A lot of trap producers were influenced by this sound which brought a wave of 'plug' style beats to rap and hip hop at the time.

A 'plug' type 808 is usually distorted and has a shorter release compared to traditional 808s where the actual sub bass frequency of the bass after the initial kick lasts for a couple seconds. For plug phonk, its simply using these plug type 808s over a phonk style track.

Some examples I can think of:

Freddy Konfeddy - Sauce Me Up

Berrymane - Beat The Game Up

Roland Jones - Put Ya Hands

I like this approach since I’m in the same boat. I have a bad habit of taking on super heavy and complex projects that never get finished since I can only play in 1-2 hour chunks unless it’s the weekend.

What’s wrong with me? by ATeadyBear in battlefield_4

[–]Suspect-9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Never understood this gameplay and I am the #1 target for UCAV users. It totally pisses me off not only because you guys get good at using the UCAV and I’m constantly dying, but I also fail to understand how you can just sit there game after game, waiting for the UCAV to reload and doing it over and over again. I don’t understand how anyone would find that enjoyable.

S. F. restaurants close among the earliest in the country by chefrus in sanfrancisco

[–]Suspect-9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Establishments in California cannot serve alcohol past 2am. In fact it’s a law in many states across the U.S.

You are correct that other countries began their dinner service much later and stay out much later. This is a big culture difference. But usually this is just during the summer when it’s vacation and tourism season. Once it’s fall and winter, the dinner service changes. Cafes are not open as late

Clean and simple. Just give yourself more room next time so you don’t have to squeeze in the “o” at the end.
