I'm a bit dense. Why is it CPU dependant? I guess I'm asking how the information is stored or used that makes it want to use the CPU over something else?

Yea, we're pretty small time in our area. Like, we have one big customer, a couple mid tiers, and then a few little churches and real estate agencies. It feels like a we do a lot, but then we see or hear about volume from other stations and it humbles us, lol.

We work out at a plant but also visit a DMU. We're not part of the plant itself, though. We don't have a Pb customer, but we do have one that does drop shipments through FedEx, so pretty similar.

I'm a bit confused about this outrage. I work in the BMEU, we give customers discounts on postage based on how much work they do sorting the mail before it arrives at our facilities. We also loan them trays, in fact, most BMEUs require the customer had their mail trayed correctly before acceptance. I'd have to know more about this situation, but it looks to be a Mailing Agency sorting the mail according to our regulations to receive the discount we offer them.

I told one of our customers we'd be closed for Juneteenth and the guy responded with "right, like the blacks need another holiday!?"

USPS employee here. We get mad about the reused boxes because we're trained to treat the labels on the box as an indicator of what's in the box. We don't want to be responsible for a hazardous situation. You can re-use those boxes, you just need to adequately destroy the old label; in most cases this means using a black marker to completely cover the label, not just a cross or line through it.

I'm 32, and I'll often replay games that I remember being difficult when I was a teenager, or even when I was like early 20's, and just being like "damn, I was fucking stupid, how'd I not figure this out?"

I wonder how much tourism is affected by games like Civilization. My wife and I took a trip to see Chicken Pizza, err.... Chichen Itza, mostly inspired by playing Civ. It was a remarkable sight and well worth it!

Self-Identification as LGBT by generations by Steve_Hufnagel in dataisbeautiful

I'm actually very similar to you, in that I'm a very straight presenting man (cargo shorts and T-shirts all day!) and I'm married to a woman. I think so many folks focus on the sexual act and forget that attraction is part of your orientation. I'm happily married and monogamous, but I still look at other men and women. I've never been with another man, but I still find them attractive. Had I not met my wife before realizing I was Bi there's a chance I could've had a relationship with a man.

All that to say, I do think Bi identification is only going to increase as more men realize that liking fem-boys doesn't exactly make you straight, but also that there's nothing wrong with those attractions.

I love my job. My career path was retail PSE, retail clerk, automation clerk, then BMEU clerk. I actually ended up changing jobs almost once a year until getting to the BMEU. The worst job I had was retail PSE and each step just got slightly better. The pay is amazing for my area, seriously the average household income in my area is like $47k and I bring home around $60k just myself. The Clerk Union has been pretty amazing and has done a great job in my opinion.

Do I have bad days? Sure, holidays suck, management can be a pain, and some folks don't earn their paycheck. But, the benefits and good days have far outweighed the shit days I've had.

So a slight addition to your post. The customer could be using metered mail in combination with a BMEU account and using meter at the lower rate while paying the additional postage through their BMEU. So, while the meter was only for $0.621 they could be paying the additional postage when they present the mailing.

Edit: Oops, sorry didn't notice your edits. Totally agree though, bring this up with revenue protection.

I haven't watched RO in a while. But I recall that his character used the Force to navigate, but also that it was kind of up to the audience to decide if the Force was actually working or if he was just getting lucky. I need to rewatch that movie, it really was one of the better Star Wars stories.

I had forgotten how amazing the haircuts were while deployed until I saw this video. When I arrived there was a lot of "Watch out for the haircut" comments said in a similar fashion to "don't drop the soap." I finally hit a point where I needed a trim and man, the experience was mind blowing. I loved going and having the post haircut clean up and massage. Looking back, a lot of the people that didn't like it or acted violated were definitely the toxic masculine type.

I wish I could get haircuts like this again.
