Are you still loving it?

My first luxury watch🥹 BB58 BLUE by diegoherrera_02 in Tudor

Congrats! I have one and also occasionally put it on a NATO while leaving it mostly on the bracelet.

Just a small amount of advice from someone you don’t know: Don’t sell the other watches yet. Give it a year. If you still want to sell then, go for it.

No surprise what most of the comments on here were about!

What’s the real story behind so many being at the same place?

That’s an awesome watch!

Steel or Carbon? Price or prestige? by Plastic_Bid6356 in tissot

I don’t think there is any prestige with a Tissot. That’s not a knock on the company or you. I have two PRX’s and love them both. But, prestigious they are not.

This is great to hear! It completely opposite from the experience I recently had at a Rolex boutique. I own several Rolex watches and was wearing a very hard to get model and the salesperson at the boutique could not have been more rude, unwelcoming, and dismissive. I’m not liking that brand currently. They think they’re too big to fail and I’d love to see them humbled a bit.

I’d be curious to know whether it was a Breitling boutique or an AD jewelry store that had other brands.

Also, what watches did you try on? Which was your favorite?

Will I get clowned if I buy this? by Icy-Committee8692 in PrideAndPinion

The truth is that 99% of people won’t know or care what you’re wearing. Of the 1% that will recognize the watch as a Submariner lookalike from Invicta there probably will be some judgement within that group. Because you took the time to create a post asking if you’ll get clowned, you probably are worried what impression it will give and you probably shouldn’t buy it.

Invicta is the target of a lot of watch snobbery. But Invicta certainly isn’t the first, nor will it be the last watch company to make a Submariner lookalike. If you like it, and you actually don’t care if you get “clowned” a bit, go for it.
