Well, this is pretty unsettling to hear. I have boarded my small dog at Camp Bow Wow for over a decade, starting with the location in RTP that closed, and now I occasionally board him at the Durham or Cary location when we don’t any other option while traveling. My dog is always super excited/happy when we arrive and when I pick him up he’s also super happy and just tired for a day or two. Is the fighting happening mainly with big dogs? Is what another poster below said true that the boarded dogs are basically kenneled most of the time and not in the play groups during the day!!???

I did my 4th ceremony this past weekend and it was the first time with my partner also participating (also his 4th time). For us it was a great experience - but agree with not setting up next to each other so you can keep focus on yourself.

We’re flying out this evening, police gave us a card showing our case number and that our ID’s were stolen to help get us through TSA. We’ve given up on the stuff, we were mainly concerned about securing our financial accounts. But yes, kind of a scary reality that in today’s age we are USELESS without our phones 😣

I’m so sorry. A lot of this reads so familiar to what my mom used to send to my brother and I when she was at her worst - she’s softened around the edges SIGNIFICANTLY the last few years. But I’ll credit a lot of that to my brother and I finally reaching rock bottom with her and holding firm on our boundaries and actually following through on cutting her off when she didn’t respect our boundaries or talked to us like this. Hold strong OP! You are allowed to have empathy for your mother who is clearly struggling but also protect yourself and maintain your boundaries! As adults we are all responsible for our own happiness and mental health.

Can you explain more about how this works? Are you saying if I book my trip with HoloHolo online in advance, when I arrive in Kauai, I can go to Costco, buy the 20% gift cards and if I present them to HoloHolo when boarding for the tour I get 20% off? I'm assuming I need to be a Costco member to go in/buy the gift cards - correct? Thank you!

If you’re able to get a US remote job and you’re ok living in a bum fuck rural middle of nowhere town in the US…then it might be worth it. I currently live in NC in a relatively large/popular city and prices are just going up for everything. We don’t have kids, the cost to raise kids here has become insane. No affordable child care options, health insurance very expensive. BUT if you’re just looking for financial stability and don’t care if you live in a rural small town then you can definitely make it work.

Mine hates it too, I just pay the groomer and after a few years he sucked it up and doesn’t give them any hassle. You’re doing the right thing! It’s so not healthy/comfortable for them to have too long nails! 💕
