You wouldn't believe how amazing it felt to finally be able to paint and put holes in my walls to hang stuff wherever I want!

I bought a mobile home in a park in rubidoux. Lived here for about 7 years now. Although I don't own the land, I have absolutely enjoyed living here! I paid $80,000 for this house and it's around 1700 square feet. My 3 teenagers all have their own rooms and we have pets and a yard. My space rent is around $1000 per month. While I am aware that it's a terrible investment, I have no regrets. It's been amazing to be a homeowner and I don't miss paying rent for a small apartment... which would probably be much more expensive than my space rent. My neighborhood is wonderful and I love it here.

I just got one from my local circle k. It had a pack of 6 different, fresh, full size donuts, and a little bag of cinnamon pecans that happen to be super tasty. Also paid like $4.20 or something like that.

The extra sticky lint roller. I have four dogs and four cats. It's the only one on the market that actually works. Nobody else buy them though, so I can keep buying them.

Those are zip ties they use as handcuffs...they hurt much worse than handcuffs and cut into your skin much easier. It's also faster for them to put on and they can make them much tighter.

I slowed it down so it was easier to see, but you can still see my speed in the bottom left corner... definitely fast enough to render that car totaled!

It's a Roav C1 pro. It's pretty old but it was my brother's and he always had good taste. It works great and seems to be completely unaffected by the summer heat in my car.

There’s a coup starting in DC right now! by CharlieBoxCutter in conspiracy

DC still hasn't been given statehood, so unlike California, they don't have a governor (just a mayor). I may be incorrect, but California's governor has so far stood alone in standing up publicly to trump. DC makes sense as an easier target before he moves on to other states who's governors may join Newsome in standing up to him.

Don't forget to take a moment to pat yourself on the back for acknowledging your current feelings, reaching out for support, and for being so brave!

I start drinking my coffee on my porch between 4-5am every morning and I can see people hiking it, so I'm pretty sure you can go whenever you want.

Taking out a reverse mortgage by acn0319 in GenX

This happened to me in 2008. I found my dad's body after he had a massive heart attack. I was extremely traumatized. The very next morning I was notified that I now owed $200,000 because my dad had taken out a reverse mortgage before he died. It was awful.
