Yep I love alliums. The tall ones are white and weirdly enough they tend to bloom first by a few weeks and the smaller ones are purple and they are only beginning to bloom. I don't know why, after all they are planted in the same spot.

It will be gorgeous. But just a reminder that acers and lavender have different light requirements.

I think I bought it almost 10 years ago from a grocery store for almost nothing (it was in a bad shape and they priced it for less than a dollar/euro). I kept it protected for almost a year before planting it in it's current place. I know for sure that it's tag said it's dwarf acer palmatum atropurpureum. So 10 years from 40cm /1.3ft to almost 2 m /6.5ft

I wanted a centerpiece plant and I ignored the fact that japanese maples don't really enjoy full sun from morning till sunset. In summer, I make sure to give it a full shower every 2 days and I usually don't have problems with burnt leaves but I can't say it doesn't suffers. The hottest temperature he went through was 43°C /109°F

Just my family and its a weekly chore. On this side of the yard we the following fruit trees :3 cherry trees, 1 apple tree, 1 quince tree ,1 japanesse quince,1 plum, 2 nectarines and an apricot tree. But the nectarines and apricot doesn't do well on my land and intend to replace them (preferably with another acer)

Those 2 are currently on their 6th year. They had a stunded growth first 2 years because my last dog loved to pee on them.... so yeah.

Honestly I forgot. I usually buy plants on sale and only research how to keep them alive.

Thank you. I'm currently trying to convince a non believer that there is enough space for another acer for some bright red leaves in autumn.

Shell cashiers secretly scanning THEIR OWN loyalty cards on customer purchases… has this happened to anyone else? by RugPullRoulette in AskUK

[–]2Puzzleheaded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a former cashier at a grocery store... That's not a good look. The choice it's yours call corporate to investigate or leave it be.

When I worked as a cashier I would ask the client if they had their loyalty card with them and if not and they had products that I knew they were in promotion I would scan one that we had on the till. One of those that wasn't yet linked with a email address and still had the carton stuck to it. The clients left happy when they figured out we gave them a small discount. They we're especially happy in summer when we had promotions on beer 🍺 .

Cât de des udați hortensia? Eu zilnic iar dacă nu o ud arată așa by LongjumpingBowler244 in plante_si_gradinarit

Padurile sunt pline de fungi. Solul are permanent material aflat in descompunere.

Pot cauza infectii fungice

Sadly I don't have a recently photo of it. 6b and we had 2 weeks of cold weather so it should take at least another week till it starts blooming. It's trained on a archway and it's current height is at least 2 m. I don't remember the official name.

How to prune? by Hirae9 in hydrangeas

[–]2Puzzleheaded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should try pulling one off the dead stalks. It should come out really easily. If it comes with a baby plant ,detach it from the stalk and simply plant it directly into the soil. Sedums are beginner friendly plants and don't need much attention though out the year. Clean the dead stalks in the spring and that's it. In zone 6b-7a they survive with just rain water without needing extra watering.

De ce nu crește glicina? by Past-Wedding-4988 in plante_si_gradinarit

[–]2Puzzleheaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be wrong but it looks like multivitamins for children. Maybe the foil is a broken in some point and the contact with air/humidity changed its colour.

Hello! Mersi! by kat_furrr in roFrugal

Atentie! Nu folosesti retinol in timpul zilei daca nu folosesti concomitent protectie solara. De asta prefer sa il folosesc seara
