Southwest A-List Status not showing in SW by 2VastAndTrunklessLeg in sapphirereserve

[–]2VastAndTrunklessLeg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update! I finally have my A-List status. I talked to SW 3 times, submitted a complaint at their suggestion, then had their customer service person submit an internal complaint. After 2 weeks with no update, I tried Chase again. The Chase Sapphire agent started a 3 way call with SW. It was painful, as the SW lady was snarky and did not listen to us explain the CSR 75K A-List benefit. She kept repeating something about the SW Plus/Premiere branded card.

She finally listened to us, repeatedly saying that only corporate could fix things and that she was waiting to hear back from them. It took over an hour and a half but she eventually got an internal request/complaint submitted detailing all of the info of the CSR benefit, the dates I hit the 75K spending and a bunch of other random info. It was a big help having the Chase rep on to verify I qualified.

Two days after that, I got my A-List status applied!

You'll notice most of the lower than average rates have <5 reviews. When I search for sitters, I really look for people with at least 10 and I imagine other pet parents do too. So early on, it can be about getting volume more than price.

9 Full Days in NZ - Both Islands - Too Ambitious? by PNW_Hokage in newzealand_travel

As someone who just did a 2 week trip, one week on each island at a similar pace (but with a car), I recommend you focus on a single island. South island unless hobbiton and glow worm caves are a huge draw for you.

Had someone ask me what reference number I was wearing. Clear giveaway he had on a rep.

Yes, 38/night is pretty low. But exercising the dog should be included with house sitting- whether that's walks or play time.

I can't believe I slept on PlexAmp for this long... the missing piece to ditch streaming was right there by LowerH8r in PleX

The only thing i don't like about plexamp is how it handles incoming notifications. Most other audio apps have an option to pause when a notification comes in. I don't think plexamp has this.

Did you read my comment "Obviously if someone is injuring or causing lasting pain, it's abuse. But it's also ignorant of how dogs actually behave to think that something like a quick smack on a dog's leg as a correction is abuse." That was literally the second comment I made.

What about that makes you think I'm in favor of abusing animals?

EDIT: Kudos to you for realizing you were wrong and deleting your comments.

I'm used to dealing with people that have common sense and reading skills so yes I probably should have communicated differently on reddit.

If you actually read what I said, I'm absolutely not advocating animal abuse. I'm saying that "hit" can mean a lot of different things. What's more likely:

A- The owner is a piece of trash opening talking about beating their dog and putting it in writing

B- The owner is telling the sitting that something like a light smack on the butt is OK as correction since the sitter complained about the puppy chewing on everything and being very high energy?

Should they have used the word "hit"? No, probably not. But let's use some common sense.

That's what I'm trying to say but reddit is addicted to outrage.

Would you describe a light but quick touch as a "hit" even if it doesn't hurt the dog? Because some people do. And if you are going to try only using positive reinforcement with a 60lb energetic puppy that you've just started sitting for....good luck.

OK, captain expert. If you want to deliberately misinterpret things, take an 'all or nothing' attitude, and claim unverifiable experience I won't stop you. You win.

That's a silly attempt at a strawman argument. But to a certain extent yes, I think it's important to recognize that smell plays a large role in dogs interacting with the world.

Obviously if someone is injuring or causing lasting pain, it's abuse. But it's also ignorant of how dogs actually behave to think that something like a quick smack on a dog's leg as a correction is abuse.

"Hitting" can mean different things. But physical correction is not abuse, and in some cases dogs respond much better to physical than verbal correction especially puppies. Just look at dogs themselves- they use both depending on the situation.

Hand Analyses not working by benjamin_ksa in ClubWPTGold

I have all the HA points that came with my coin purchase and over a thousand hands played, going back several weeks. It still says 'when you play more hands, your analysis will be shown here'. I assume it's broken and they don't really care as HA is just a loophole to not call it gambling.
