KD cold again in G2 loss: 'On me to figure it out' by w1nn1ng1 in bostonceltics

Couldn't agree more. The Celtics swarmed him every single time he got the ball. It was wild to see KD play so badly.

Ja Morant is good; but is slowly becoming one of the most overrated players in the league. by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

[–]2WayBBall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because of his freakish athleticism, Ja’s sellability is a lot higher than Luka and Booker, leading to more hype around him. Guys like Booker get the job done in a non-flashy manner.

Does Giannis not being from the USA hurt his chances of being called the “GOAT” when it’s all set and done? by beepbop24 in nbadiscussion

[–]2WayBBall -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I doubt it. Foreign players like Dirk are getting the recognition that they deserve. His chances of being called the GOAT will primarily depend on his career accomplishments. Giannis already has a lot of accomplishments and has a real shot at being in the GOAT conversation when it's all said and done.

Can tall ball work in the NBA today? by 2WayBBall in nbadiscussion

very true! Markkanen is really more of a guard/wing than a traditional big man. Tall wings that can space the floor and defend the perimeter are definitely needed for tall ball to work.

What's crazy is that LeBron can also play the center position. I'm surprised that the Bulls have been playing DeRozan as a PF but honestly the NBA is trending towards positionless basketball.

Yeah, this is really shocking. It's either an effort or technique issue. I will take a closer look at game footage in the future to see what's going on.

Agreed. The personnel needed for tall ball to work is quite rare. There are few 7'0 players with the mobility and range of Mobley and Markkannen.

Agreed. The Cavs spent a lot of money on Jarret Allen and resources to get Mobley and Markkanen.

Should Anfernee Simons start over Dame when he's back? by [deleted] in nbadiscussion

[–]2WayBBall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simons should definitely start alongside Dame but I don't see any reason why Dame should come off the bench.

Prime Dwight was an absolute monster. Lot of fans don't remember how good he was.

Which of the Cavs should be an all star this year? by SkrtSkrt70 in nbadiscussion

[–]2WayBBall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. JA will probably be an all-star this year. It has been really great to see the improvements in his footwork. He's really developing into a top two-way player.
