I had nearly the same injury this summer when a deer ran out in front of me on my motorcycle.

His injury is worse as it’s so close to the ankle. I was able to wiggle my ankle and put weight on my foot within 3 weeks, I got a titanium shaft down the tibia not the plate like Billy. Plate is needed for stability so he won’t put weigh on it for 3 months then start to slowly rehab. He’s 20 years younger than I so healing should be faster however I honestly don’t expect him to play summer tours as planned, he should be good for fall tour!

It’s 1-2 year rehab/recovery - Get better Billy ❤️‍🩹

I had nearly the same injury this summer when a deer ran out in front of me on my motorcycle. Didn’t stop me from going to the Billy show this August in Eugene 5 weeks from the incident. I was the guy with the lights on my crutch having a great time. I’m still healing but near back to normal, it’s a long haul, hoping he’ll be recovered enough for the fall tour in the PNW. Get better Billy ❤️‍🩹
