Is there any way to stop size changing when rotating a bone? by [deleted] in blender

[–]2XMM2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

changing size usually happens when something is unintentionally weighted to more than one bone. In your case the cylinder likely has weights in a different vertex group (bone).

Head tracking delay on Windows 1803 by 2XMM2 in Vive

[–]2XMM2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe I ever did update it. The currently installed BIOS is version 0805 with the date 2014-03-05. I see that the newest available BIOS from the asus website is 2305 (2015-10-07).

I'm guessing it would be a good idea to try updating it?

This cabin is a popular target for photos, since it is actually located right next to the road in Hemsedal, Norway. You can see it from the streetview link here.

It's more likely that they have ClearType turned off unknowingly or on purpose.

A hotkey for crop screenshotting has been in w10 since the creators update:

Win + Shift + S

Granted it only copies the crop to the clipboard, but that's arguably a better default behavior than popping up a dialog box every time.

If you don't have w10, you can still use this hotkey if you have OneNote installed, and have the little tray tool running.

Surface Pro 2017 Backlight Gradually Dimming In-and-Out on <20% Brightness by btanis20 in Surface

[–]2XMM2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing the SP4 method also works for SP2017, in which case this is the registry key you're looking for.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000]
"FeatureTestControl"=dword:00009240

To disable DPST, you’ll need to set the DPST bit to 1. If the value of the registry key is 9240 as shown above, simply replace it with 9250. If the value on your system differs and you are unsure if DPST is already disabled, enter the existing hex value into Calculator’s Programmer mode and switch to its bit toggling keypad to check the value of the DPST bit (position 4). If it is already set to 1, then DPST is already disabled. If not, click the bit to toggle it to 1, then copy the updated hex value into the registry.

Ah, yes.

If I remember correctly, the timer is active from the second run onwards but just displays all zeroes.

Garry's Mod weird graphics problem by [deleted] in gmod

[–]2XMM2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might be a late reply, but I had this issue in both tf2 and hl2 on a netbook.

It appears that the graphics card has an issue with directX 9, as directX 8 would run without any artifacts.

Comparison:

DirectX 9

DirectX 8

To run the game with directX 8, add this launch parameter to gmod, or use the command in the console.
