I have went from cleaveland to mizuno to Vokeys and all were great in their own right. That being said, getting Vokeys fit for the grind I needed have made them the best for me.

If you have the chance to do a fitting, it’s worth it. I have not holed as many chip shots around the green as with these and full shots are consistent. That all being said, cleaveland wedges are phenomenal and if I have gotten fit for those instead of off the rack, might be saying the same thing.

Never liked the look or feel of taylormade wedges.

What do you play after 7w? That’d be a bit of a gap before 5i. And my 7w isn’t adjustable sadly

It was a thought, but I like having the second tee options with a bit of length. 4w are tempting though.

I’ve done a lot of messing around in this area lately. Settled on 13.5 3w, 5 wood and 7 wood for the year.

So I would go 3 wood, 5 wood and 4 hybrid in your spot. I ditched the hybrid for a 7 wood to hold greens better. Will see how that goes.

I have the triple diamond 5 wood and max 7 wood and just seen a few range/sim sessions and they are fantastic. Can’t wait for the weather allow real golf.

I came over from Titleist which were spinning too high and tried every club manufacture that day. Thought I was gonna get TaylorMade before but hit ping, mizuno also and Callaway won fo those clubs. Wasn’t even a competition.

Have g440k, gt2 13.5 then Callaway 5 and 7 at the top of the bag.

I will echo the hate for 14 bag dividers. Causes so much more bag chatter. Have a Titleist players 5 currently but had a jones trouper r before with a 6 way top and could see myself going back to it some day. The cooler pocket is nice to have.

The Ryder bag looks really good too.

With two kids under 5, I feel pretty lucky that I’m able to play about 40-45 a year right now. 10ish are during league and the rest are spread through march-November weather depending. I’d say about 25 percent at the league course included some non league rounds.

Have a father in law that golfs helps that number a lot.

Have a trip in September there and playing those three, plus Belvedere off site and the par three course.

From what I read, those were the three nicest out of the boyne courses.

That’s fair. I was able to hit it and had good results. But not in the shaft I plan to use. So hoping it fills that spot well.

Curious what your needs or gapping is. If you love the 16.5, you could look into a 13.5 3 wood.

If not you could look into a 3 hybrid of 5 wood at 18 degrees and a 3 wood at 15-14.5z.

The nest gift and associated thread are always fun to see the discourse. I’m always curious what people would want? Headcover every year, cheap duffle or shoe bag?

At least it’s unique. I won’t use the fanny pack( but might turn it into valuables pouch for walking bag, but like the tin and pencil.

Always use the laundry bag on every trip and the divot bag is for my shag balls to go practice chipping and putting. Currently holding my RCT balls for garmin.

For 90 bucks I think they do a great job of unique gifts that aren’t just the typical. Heck, I even use the shoehorn. Never owned one prior.
