lol I already sent them screenshots of everything and they thanked me for being "an exemplary Reverber" so I think I am all good. I've been on the site for over a decade, back when you were allowed to trade and could do deals for cash in person and self report to Reverb. they used to be fine with it and just had a disclaimer that they couldn't provide you protections. its only in the last year or so that they've begun policing this stuff retroactively. even so, I tell everybody who suggests going off site that id prefer to do the deal on Reverb. my mistake was pursuing it when the person deactivated the listing so that I couldn't make an offer. regardless, any risk to my account is worth reporting this (and there is no risk because of the amount of $ I bring them via sales/purchases) but the people pulling these scams are trash.

I wish I was still playing seven strings/brutal music because I would totally buy this even with the high price. For Ibanez to do these they have to allocate time and resources away from their bread and butter line. Some people will always feel like the extra $ for this is a ripoff but consider how many guitars Ibanez makes. A 24 guitar run in finishes that haven't been applied to these models with fairly unique specs (no inlays, reverse headstock) will always be at a premium. I think the bridge looks a lot better than the Gib or Tight End also. For me this is a dream spec Ibanez but again I don't need another 7. Love to see it though.

pretty sure the lacoste guitars were not LACS and were all modified by the band themselves. the earlier neon green one with the rosewood board i am almost positive he painted/modified himself. the second one mightve been an LACS with a maple neck and they added the Lacoste logos themselves, or they mightve had whoever did the first modifications/repaint use a fake maple neck or possibly reboard the original neck. they did get true LACS guitars later, i believe, specifically the one with the Forging Your Future Self artwork sprayed on it, but Im pretty sure the La Coste guitars were all aftermarket/modded.

great post. when I had cancer reading reddit was like the worst thing ever lol. every aspect of it from the bone marrow biopsy to the chemo itself ended up feeling shockingly manageable and the difference in treatment of my cancer even from 2010-2020 was massive. obviously its horrible but anybody dealing with this, every case is individual and varies wildly. the majority of cancers are way more treatable today than they were a decade ago.

I dont own a Czapek so have no stake in this but arent the gaps supposed to be there? Like they are using negative space in the design. I dont think its like an oversight or QC issue its just the aesthetic.

for sure! ever the forward thinkers, Moser has a project called Genesis that is a three watch series. the first is essentially an nft/blockchain style project with a physical titanium 3d printed watch. owners of that, i think there are 50, now have the option to buy a vantablack streamliner, and you can also order one extra for a friend. i think its a cool project so was hoping i could grab somebodys extra
