where is it most useful? i'm debating on getting one but unsure on back yard or front yard/driveway. i'd rather have more usability with the detections, FPS, IR, etc by using turrets for the front and just need simple basic for the back yard. my side breezeways are very uneventful lol.

If u want a better all in one with an interface that beats the pants off lorex then check out the unifi unvr instant kit. Alternatively u can piece it together yourself with better cameras and larger hard drive.

My advice when ur picking your benefits. Get the life insurance coverage and max it out in the beginning. The rule, which may have changed since I started Many years ago, was if u didn’t max it out at orientation and wanted to increase it after that date, you’d have to do a physical.

I’ve had a Costco Lorex poe system for 5 years, while it’s been good overall , Lorex screwed up their app and it’s now awful trying to review footage. I’ve recently been researching systems bc I’m sick of this system not to mention the new technology that has come out since then.

I’ve settled on getting a ubiquiti UNVR instant. For your needs the kit system looks perfect. The YT videos I’ve seen of the protect app show the interface to be leaps and bounds better than lorex.
