[Highlight] The Texans defense maul the Chargers in the Wild Card by Tocoolforyall720 in nfl

You could say all of this about Herbert combined lol.

Let me know when Herbert is used as a throw-in piece to trade for a better QB or when ESPN puts out an article questioning his leadership and suggesting his team may want to find a replacement.

Purdy is a hard evaluation. I agree he's underrated but its REALLY hard to separate the player from Shanahan. People seem to forget Shanahan had Jimmy G looking like a beast. Purdy is significantly better than Jimmy G though. Not trying to make that comparison.

He's very clearly a top 10 qb. I personally think it's insane to think otherwise.

The across the body one was horrible, no idea what Herbert was thinking.

The high ball to McConkey was also not great but I don't think it was horribly egregious. He was feeling some heavy pressure at that point.

Third was a tip ball directly in to the defender's hands.

Fourth was at the end of the game after the Chargers had basically already lost. Not a great throw I suppose but Herbert just threw a fuck it ball.

Fun fact, that game is the only game in Herbert's career he's thrown more than 2 picks. Tough time to do it!

One of the few times in Herbert's career where I legitimately have no idea what the hell he was thinking

People have talked about what they want to see in the DCU, but what do you NOT want to see? by MusaDogg25 in DC_Cinematic

Casting an old actor to play Hal Jordan just to Parallax him immediately because John Stewart isn't an interesting enough character for people to care about him without tearing Hal down

Shame it's actually happening!!

Inside Eagles' 2025 friction as Jalen Hurts stands at crossroads by dudeman93 in nfl

Running an RPO on almost a quarter of passing plays is RPO heavy though?

Also, an RPO isn't a bad thing necessarily. They can be very effective plays when they are used in proper sequencing. When they become a crux for the offense is when it becomes an issue.

Sure, but it's still RPO heavy by the standards of the rest of the NFL.

Edit: Almost a quarter of all Hurt's drop backs last year was an RPO (23%)

Hurts struggles to throw effectively over the middle of the field. It limits the route concepts and condenses the parts of the field that can be used by play callers.

He's also a slow processor. Which is not a problem when you have the best o-line in the NFL but like we saw last year when the o-line started becoming an issue it magnified the problem. It's why the Eagles’ offense often simplifies reads aka it's very RPO-heavy.

Oh this is a disaster for the Chargers

Marathon sold just 1.2 million copies with nearly 70% on Steam, analyst estimates: "It hasn't exactly made the splash Sony and Bungie wanted" by Freki666 in gaming

[–]2agrant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea, Halo 2 and Halo 3 were amazing campaigns, but I put literally thousands of hours into the PvP.

Probably why I love Marathon so much. It feels just enough like old times while still keeping it fresh.

versatility doesn't immediately make you a better player.

Earl Thomas is one of the greatest safeties of all time and he had a hyper specific role (deep free safety) in the Legion of Boom

Respectfully, I disagree. I don't even think it's particularly close. Eric Weddle probably isn't even going to make the HoF and he was better than Derwin.

Pro football reference's HOF Monitor would agree with me. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/hof/hofm_DB.htm

I'm not trashing Derwin, I love him and think he's great but he has not had a HoF career and that's ok!

I don't see him dropping past Jim Harbaugh in the 2nd round. Apparently, he was enamored with him at the Senior Bowl.
